I decided to give out Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars for Halloween.
As the (I'm guessing autistic) checkout guy at @Target slowly rang me up, he held one card and mentioned that it one of his all-time favorite cars.
I tried to give it to him but he said he wasn't allowed to accept gifts.
Of course I went straight to customer service to talk to a mgr. She said that he could accept it and walked over with me to let him know.
I said "Happy Halloween!" and his face lit up with a huge smile. The other two cashiers were also smiling ear-to-ear.
I think my ❤️ got the biggest benefit.
When you see an opportunity to make someone's day, just do it. Esp when the only cost is a little time and $1.19.

BREAKING: NHTSA has filed a proposed rule to modernize FMVSS 108, the federal vehicle lighting standard, for autonomous vehicles that have no steering wheel or pedals.
• Turn signal, hazard, and high-beam control requirements would apply only to vehicles with manual driving controls
• Adds optional cyan "ADS marker lamps" so people can tell a car is driving itself
• Publishes Oct 26, with a 30-day comment period

What I am looking at that says Optimus is NEAR mass production:
♦️Tesla has entered Stealth mode precisely because the tech is too valuable to be shown and copied before mass production. Elon Musk has said that competitors copy Tesla’s demos.
♦️And the indications from China are that Tesla is finalizing mass production deals with China. So to Tesla’s supply chain secrecy companies say things like “the biggest company” and not Tesla by name, with Chinese analysts being more willing to be concrete in details.
♦️Tesla’s own earnings call have reaffirmed Optimus production targets.
