The purpose of House Dems targeting Elon is to build the narrative for something even worse. 1. Prosecution of him if they take power in 2029. 2. Vilifying a hero of capitalism in order to impose pseudo-communism. 3. Making the case that the system as run by GOP is irredeemably corrupt and must be overturned. Elon will need an entire sophisticated operation to defend him. This is not a job to figure out as we go. And defense of Elon is defense of our entire system. He’s the fulcrum.
JUST IN: House Democrats say Elon Musk is on their "list of targets" if they win the midterms

The reason to threaten Musk is to terrify anyone who would even think of opposing these people. If they can take out the world's richest man and our greatest contemporary industrialist, then just think what they can do to you and to the average Jane and Joe. We must stop them.
On the Bulwak podcast, Kara Swisher says Elon might already be in jail under Kamala Harris, and "he knows what's coming for him." Another one to put in the "what Democrats plan to do if they take power" file: "If Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. I'd be worried if I were him." "So they're going to start investigating again. You think he's not on the list? He's at the top of that list." "He has a very big sense of fate. And I think it's coming for him. And real hard." They're all just saying this stuff out loud now. There are no secrets about what they want to do.

Violent crime is falling. The murder rate is on pace to reach a historic low. According to the FBI, “the 2025 murder rate of 4.1 per 100,000 inhabitants is tied with 1955 and 1956 for the lowest murder rate,” and that 2024 to 2025 shows the largest year-to-year decline in violent crime rates since the FBI began tracking in 1936. That’s fewer funerals, fewer grieving families, and fewer empty chairs at Thanksgiving this year. 3/9

A quick hit: Peter Thiel ended his fourth Antichrist lecture here in Nashville by encouraging Nashvilleans to get over what he calls their “mild inferiority complex,” urging them not to leave finance and politics to others. His “apocalyptic conclusion,” he says, is there are very, very few places willing to host such a talk, and he was heartened to see people turn up. He argues that Nashville is something like a global center for Protestantism—what he calls the center of a religion with no center—and exhorts the people of Nashville to fight. If you give up on the battle of ideas, he says, you’ll lose.
No widening gyres so far (I’m headed to Nashville to cover the fourth and final Antichrist lecture there from Peter Thiel)

It’s not every day you stumble across a recording in which U.S. citizens discuss plans to declare the federal government illegitimate. Here’s one particularly alarming excerpt: “If the federal government’s deemed to be illegitimate … then the governors become the leading governing authority under the current republic framework of our Constitution.” And then there’s this one: “I really want to emphasize this is not a concept for a secession. No one is talking about leaving the United States.” Of course they’re not “talking about leaving the United States”; they’re talking about a planned transfer of governing authority outside the constitutional process—replacing the authority of the federal government with governors and outside networks. I hope this turns out to be a deep fake or a bad practical joke—because if it’s real, it’s unbelievably frightening. Either way, it’s a good reminder to vote carefully in November.
🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 2: WHEN AND HOW TO DECLARE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ILLEGITIMATE 🚨 Some questioned whether a group of 200 ex-USAID officials could actually pull off their ambitions to rewrite the Constitution. Here, they describe exactly how it works. They aren't working alone. The videos all come from Renew to Thrive (R2T) group and associates. Danielle Reiff and Paul Zeitz play key roles within R2T. R2T sits inside a much, much larger umbrella called United Democracy Alliance (UDA), which is an extremely hush-hush control plane of leaders from major "blocking" NGOs such as 50501 and Indivisible fulfilling various functions. UDA decides when protests get deployed, timelines, how to respond, all that. R2T's role within UDA is concerned with "the day after tomorrow" - in other words, their function is to conceive what a rewritten American government will look like after the rest of UDA fulfills its purpose. As will be shown, Erica Chenoworth is credited with conceiving UDA in the first place under the Horizons "Big Tent" initiative. Note here that National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) is credited for operationalizing UDA. NSL4A is a group of 1,600 ex-military, intelligence, and diplomatic officials. They are led by Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith (Ret). NSL4A also played a key role in the "illegal orders" messaging which targeted Pete Hegseth. Zeitz is also a member of NSL4A. It must be emphasized that the choice of a military-oriented organization to coordinate NGOs across domestic protests is an interesting one all in itself - especially in an umbrella conceived by a regime change expert like Chenoworth. You will have a hard time finding any mentions of UDA in the public. They are extremely hush-hush and selective who they talk to. Mike Smith himself makes a personal appearance in other calls, coordinating Insurrection Act exercises and roleplaying with R2G as one of the participants. As the audio transcript shows, they have outlined a sequence of "redlines" in which case the federal government should be declared illegitimate. Invoking the Insurrection Act against "peaceful" protesters is one of the most discussed redlines. I will post the illegitimate criteria below, but basically, almost any effective pushback against NGOs is a measure of illegitimacy according to them. Important to understand: The audio shows they shopped this idea around governors, but the reality is that governors do not have to explicitly sign on to the pact to play their role in the coup. All they have to do is refuse troops in their state and let UDA / R2G do the work of dissolving the federal government.

Democrats will be out for blood. I have some disappointments, as do many others, but we must judge politics but alternatives and not compare them to a utopia. Voting Republican is the easiest choice you'll make this year.
“You’re going to be caught with more than your pants down,” warns Dem power broker Susan Rice about what happens to Trump supporters when Dems take over: “Whether you’re a law firm, a university, a media entity, big corporation, big tech…there will be an accountability agenda…companies better preserve their documents, they better be ready for subpoenas.” That ought to boost the economy, eh?

There is nowhere to run to. United States or die.
When I was 11/12 my dad got a job in Mendoza, Argentina and my family moved down there. I was put in school in Spanish, and we tried to do the whole expat family thing. This was 2007. We were affluent Americans. I became fluent quickly, my sister and I could fully blend. When the global economy crashed it whiplashed worse poorly managed countries like Argentina which was already struggling with inflation. There was a significant amount of blame placed on America as a country and gringos living in country as its representatives. Of the seven other American families in our suburb, five of them had armed, violent robberies and rapes happen in their homes in 2008. I learned much later from @Lady_Astor that the gringo blame was strongly encouraged by Argentina's (Cristina) Kirchner government. My family had a gunman inside the walls incident and we fled the country. The police, who we'd already bribed to come if we called (this was standard) wouldn't protect us. The other American families had been there longer and were better established than us were barely better off. Many had to flee. The experience has led me to be strongly against doing the international expat thing. Assuming that your native neighbors Argentina will not see you as the most viable possible target should any shocks to the system occur is a potentially fatal mistake. It doesn't matter how much money you have or how well set up you are, when things get even moderately bad, you are an outsider. And the place will eat you alive. Do I have any doubt that @itsjacksworld has had fun as a tourist in South America for six years? No. I'm sure it's been great. He's never been there for a major stability shock, like an economic crash. He clearly doesn't have a family and does not know the true stakes of being an expat. He doesn't actually own property down there (more on the flimsiness of "owning property" in a country like Argentina next time), but I hope he comes to realize this through maturity, not experience. Easy to post a concrete cube house near Bariloche for updoots online. Totally unadvisable to become a real expatriate with skin in the game (a wife, a family, not a kid on vacation)

Man, the untold horrors Trump has saved us from. If he hadn’t stepped in, we would be only 2 years post Hillary right now. Never forget that he didn’t have to put it all on the line and he has paid for it in blood. Thank you @realDonaldTrump
My favorite part was Hillary’s face when Trump was answering. It was a mixture of “oh no I just screwed up” and “this is the first genuine complement someone has given me in thirty years”

Most satellites still need ground to tell them what to do next. The Space Force just put $13M into ones that can decide and act inside rules the operator sets. EraDrive’s Era-Nodes are vision-based autonomy modules. GPS-denied nav, tracking, maneuvering, all running onboard instead of a command list uploaded from the ground. That’s the actual shift. Proud to back Sumant Sharma, Simone D'Amico, Justin Kruger and the team. Great example of a Black Flag / Harpoon portfolio company!! Self-driving spacecraft just made a massive jump forward! 🫡🇺🇸

One proper response would be for the Admin to simply ignore any incoming requests from Slotkin and her office. It would be irresponsible to put her office in contact with young Admin staffers after she loudly proclaimed this. Same goes for Hill offices. Isolate her.

With the Slotkin comments fresh in everyone's mind, it's worth revisiting what Susan Rice warned about should Democrats take power. They've been very open about what they want to do. Rice promised in February that Democrats will punish people, companies and institutions who have “taken a knee to Trump.” “It’s not going to end well for them." “If these corporations think that the Democrats, when they come back in power, are going to play by the old rules…they’ve got another thing coming." “There will be an accountability agenda." “This is not going to be an instance of forgive and forget." So anyone that dared to be affiliated with the Trump admin will be targeted for political and legal reprisals, per Rice. They haven't hidden their plans.

Obama: It's a "basic principe of democracy" to not prosecute the other party 🤡
🤖 Made with AI
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.
