Tourism contributes more to BC's GDP than natural resource industries, including forestry and O&G, and the food services industry is one of the largest private employer groups in BC.
The economy already runs on whale watching & coffee shops.

We need to be a province that builds, makes and creates. We need a provincial industrial strategy and we need to get serious about the loss of industrial land to real estate speculation.
Once industrial land is converted to other uses, it is extraordinarily difficult, if not impossible, to get it back. And without that land, where exactly do we expect the next generation of manufacturers, skilled tradespeople and industrial employers to go?
This is one of the most consequential challenges we face in British Columbia, with a lot of damage already done. I hope the new government makes it an urgent priority.

5-Yet my surgeons team all wore N95s no issue but the nurses were so upset to wear it to prep me for 10 minutes. I asked my surgeon once before ever meeting her to wear an N95 & she has ever since no question or issue. I had major surgery & should not of had to deal with that.

A neighbor's boyfriend beat on my door w/ a story about his child being in a car accident & him needing a ride to his family's house where they'd all drive up to the hospital together. I drove him. Towns away! It was a party. He needed a ride to a fucking party. Never again.

I suddenly & urgently needed to get to my doctor this week & couldn't drive. After calling some friends who were unavailable, you know what I did? I called a fucking taxi because I'm an adult, even though my neighbours were home.
