🚨The Western Hemisphere is quietly building the world's most important oil supply cushion.
New projections from Wood Mackenzie, reported by the Financial Times and flagged by Jack Prandelli, show six Western Hemisphere producers adding roughly 2.6 million barrels per day of new oil production by 2030.
Here's the breakdown:
• United States: the biggest contributor, adding about 900,000 b/d. The shale patch keeps delivering, year after year, no matter how many times it's written off.
• Guyana: the fastest grower, with output up about 74%. A decade ago, Guyana produced no oil at all. Today, it is one of the great success stories in the global industry.
• Suriname: going from near zero to about 200,000 b/d, riding the same geology that made Guyana a star.
• Argentina: Vaca Muerta is finally living up to its promise as one of the world's great shale plays.
• Canada: Alberta's oil sands remain a steady, long-life source of supply.
• Brazil: its deepwater offshore keeps adding barrels.
Why does this matter right now? Because the war with Iran and the constant threat to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz have reminded everyone how much risk is baked into Middle East supply.
Every barrel produced in this hemisphere is a barrel that never has to pass through that chokepoint.
That makes these non-Hormuz barrels more valuable by the day, both to refiners and to the nations that depend on reliable energy.
The lesson here is simple: energy security comes from producing more oil and gas, not less. The countries that open their resources to development - and the companies willing to invest in them - are the ones keeping the world supplied while the Middle East burns.

This should be required reading at the dinner table of every household in America, Ukraine, Russia, the UK, and the EU.
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.
I'm also using a Grok Bot and find it incredibly helpful for fact-checking, research and making me generally more productive. It is a fantastic tool when used for the right things.
Stuart Varney: What is this Grok @Bot? You use it.
Phil Rosen: I am using it.
@Varneyco: Who puts it out? What does it do?
Rosen: This is @elonmusk’s frontier lab. I will share personally, I was on Claude for the last year or so, and I would use Claude, ChatGPT, and a little bit of Muse in the last few weeks. Since I started to use Grok Bot this month, I have essentially cut all my other AI tools.
Varney: What's so good about it?
@philrosenn: It's essentially your own staff of AI agents. You can have a chief of staff agent managing your other AI agents, which, again, I get it, sounds a little ridiculous, and I tell my friends and my parents this and they don't understand, and I have to walk them through it on a Zoom call. I use Grok Bot for a lot of content creation now. I use it for some fact-checking stuff, some editing, research. I use it for helping me with my calendar.

Guyana, Brazil pre-salt, Permian, Vaca Muerta — the Western Hemisphere is the one big supply cushion sitting entirely outside Hormuz. It won't stop a spike, but it's why the forward curve fades $116 back toward the $80s over time. The marginal barrel increasingly ships from the Atlantic basin, not the Gulf.
Reminder: This is only funny because at first you think it just might be true.

Geopolitical Stability (ie PEACE) is driven by having a reliable supply and resource of oil & gas (fossil fuels). The Iran “conflict” has re-set the global map. 🇺🇸

Bragging that 30% of new car sales are EVs in Indonesia?
Meanwhile, nearly 70% of their electricity comes from COAL.
Congratulations. You're replacing gasoline-powered cars with coal-powered cars.
Not quite the environmental flex you think it is.

"It took me three weeks to get the air quality permit in Fort Worth. It had taken me over two years in California." - Jim Litinsky, CEO of MP Materials.
Somewhere, Gavin Newsom is seething with the aroma of burning sulphur.
MP Materials sits on what Ross Perot Jr. calls "the Saudi Arabia of rare earth" in California. Jim Litinsky bought the company out of bankruptcy and wanted to start making magnets too.
Ross brought him to Alliance in Fort Worth, and at the groundbreaking for the first magnet facility, Jim told him:
"Ross, I can't believe it. It took me three weeks to get the air quality permit in Fort Worth. It had taken me over two years in California."
Then the Pentagon bought 15% of MP Materials and asked Jim for a magnet plant 10 times bigger, right away.
"So now we're building a $1.2 billion building for Jim."
Dear Jake: If you really got this stuff in the mail, then you and the people who sent it to you committed a felony on video for everyone to see.

This is what @JohnCornyn @KarlRove and the entire Bush family want for Texas's next U.S. senator to do.
Never, ever forget that, fellow Texans. Never forget who these people really are.
7 standard deviations above the baseline, but we are still expected by the woke left and its media enablers to think the jabs are totes safe and effective.
I would curse these people, but no epithet I can come up with is strong enough to describe them.
I asked @EthicalSkeptic to find CDC data for sudden cardiac death in males ages 5 - 21.
The rate since the rollout of the COVID shots is 7 standard deviations above the baseline rate and is still rising.

Karoline Leavitt is not irreplaceable, but she can't be replaced by anyone of equal competence for the White House Press Secretary's job. Her communications skills are simply unmatched.
Bill Maher admits Trump is a remarkable listener who never interrupts and values every opinion in the room.
MAHER: "Remember, we were going to have a live execution of the Fort Hood shooter? Somebody talked to him. He DOES LISTEN when he’s in that White House. He never interrupts. He never gets mad. He listens."
LEAVIT: "He does. And he surveys the room. Something that I find admirable about him is he’ll look around the room, and he’ll ask the opinions of everyone in it, whether it’s a low-level staffer or his chief of staff."
MAHER: "True."
LEAVITT: “He genuinely wants to know how people feel, what they think. He takes their counsel and advice, and then I think he makes the best decision that he believes is best for the country in that moment.”

I've been pointing this reality out since August. The sheer number of fake polls designed to suppress GOP turnout in this year's election has been completely unprecedented. This is election interference by both polling industry and media outlets who sponsor most of the fake ones.
I’ve been sounding the alarms that the polls are WRONG — and the evidence is now piling up! The implications of this are huge.
As FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said yesterday: “During this election season, there has been a significant surge in entirely Fake Polls and Suppression Polls designed to do nothing more than interfere with the regular functioning of the electoral process and alter the normal patterns of voter turnout and enthusiasm.”
