Win 0.5 ETH + 4,000 USDC for a revenue-focused operating plan for Foreguild.
Seer invites PDF or HTML operating plans explaining how Foreguild, a proposed AI job board FAO, would achieve success, specifically optimised for revenue.
The idea is straightforward: humans and AIs post tasks, AI completes them and gets paid in crypto.
FAO stands for Futarchy Autonomous Organization: a swarm of agents doing work, with its actions governed by futarchy. Your plan should explain what the agents do and how that governance directs their actions.
A useful plan might discuss where tasks come from, how agents are assigned work, how completed work is assessed, and how spending, disputes and human intervention are handled. These are prompts to help explain your proposal, not a mandatory checklist or separate scoring rubric.
FAOs are still an emerging idea, so we'd encourage you to exercise your creativity in your submissions and draw on many different resources. Then apply those ideas to Foreguild, explaining how it would generate revenue and how futarchy would govern its actions.
Note: Seer team members will also participate.
If an eligible non-internal submission wins, the winner receives the 0.5 ETH Poidh bounty plus 4,000 USDC paid separately by Seer.
If a Seer team submission wins, the highest-ranked non-internal submission receives the 0.5 ETH Poidh bounty, and no 4,000 USDC is paid.
Submit through Poidh to qualify for its bounties.
If you submit via Google Form, you can still win Seer's separate USDC prize, but not the additional bounties on Poidh.
As with the naming contest, every plan becomes an outcome in a Seer market, and the Seer team makes the final choice.
Submissions close on 12th November at 23:59 Anywhere on Earth.
Details and submissions below.

A glimpse into my proposal for the @seer_pm rebrand, Part 2. π
Building on the Electric Foundation design philosophy, I explored a circular visual language that flows consistently from the logo and wordmark into the broader design system, creating a cohesive identity rooted in continuity and connection.
For the website, I introduced liquid glass to subtly carry these circular line patterns throughout the interface, adding depth and dimension without distracting from the content or compromising visual clarity.
Every detail was considered to make the identity feel intentional, unified, and distinctly Seer.
I hope the team loves what Iβve put together. Thanks again for the opportunity! π€

How do human beings have meaning in the age of Ai.
If Elon is right, and robots and Ai will do almost everything better than humans, then what do humans do?
This is going to sound crazy but I suspect spiritual guidance is going to have a huge TAM.
Is it always better to have someone producing something rather than nothing?
Chapter 8: "Is It 'Better to Produce Anything than Nothing'? Job Guarantees Versus Idleness" by Lucas M. Engelhardt.
One of MMT's signature policy proposals is a federal job guarantee. The government would offer employment at a fixed wage to anyone willing and able to work. They say that this would eliminate involuntary unemployment, put idle resources to work, and help stabilize the economy.
But Dr. Engelhardt asks: "Why are resources idle in the first place?" - p. 190
Drawing on W. H. Hutt's The Theory of Idle Resources, Dr. Engelhardt explains that apparent "idleness" isn't necessarily wasteful.
A machine might sit unused because its owner expects more valuable opportunities in the future. Someone might remain unemployed while searching for a better job. Students forgo employment while in school. Some people simply prefer leisure to the available employment opportunities.
Hutt called some of these situations pseudo-idleness. What appears to be wasted productive capacity is actually in the factor owner's best interest. If anyone else has a better idea on how to use the "idle" machine or labor, they are free to bid for it and employ it.
Simply observing that a resource isn't currently being used doesn't establish that putting it to work would improve economic welfare.
But there's another problem with the job guarantee: "very few jobs rely on labor alone." - p. 203
Suppose the government hires unemployed workers to paint murals. They'll need paint, brushes, ladders, transportation, etc. Other government jobs require computers, office space, and other equipment.
All these complementary resources have alternative uses.
And here's where the calculation problem enters (once again--noticing a theme in this book?): "Without accounting for profit and loss, it is impossible to say whether the cost of these workers is worth the value of the services they provide." - p. 204
Dr. Engelhardt points out that even if job guarantee wages are comparable to unemployment benefits, the additional costs of employing workers could make the program substantially more expensive.
Anyone (even government bureaucrats!) can find something for unemployed workers to do. The trick is finding something for them to do where the value of what they produce exceeds the opportunity cost. Only the profit and loss system of the market can do that.
