Mistakes in training are a sign the session is working. If nobody’s failing, it’s too easy.

Practice tasks must contain lots of repetition without repetition Another way we can think of this is 'many times, many ways' We need to give players opportunities to solve the problem 'many times' but because of our practice design they need to solve it in 'many ways'

“Good technique” in a queue isn’t good technique. If it falls apart under pressure in a game, it was never learned.

For instance. This was a 77% outp. His out in the 2nd, Frelick hitting was a 22% outp. Just because they dove doesn't mean it was a hard play. Probably a bad route or late read. #MSFTFielders
This view NEEDS to be showed all the time. Fans see @TheWARmonger_ post an outp% and get mad because he didn't or did slide. See their JUMP. His prep step/hop allows him to get to this ball. #MSFTFielders

A team has hit in a baseball game 4,934 times this year. The Brewers’ 20.5% Whiff rate in World Series Game 3 was the 1,267th best mark of the season. Why are people losing their minds over this
Brewers last night: 16 swings and misses on 175 pitches / 78 swings (20.5% Whiff rate) Rays last night: 7 swings and misses on 119 pitches / 56 swings (12.5% Whiff rate) If the Brewers were cheating last night because of this, what exactly were the Rays doing???

Baseball games are broadcast by guys who have a really poor grasp of what actual analytics are, and then fans interpret what they’re hearing poorly. It’s a terrible game of “telephone”. If these guys actually understood what “analytics” are they wouldn’t have a problem with them.
I miss when "hitting" actually meant "getting a hit" in a game, rather than some MS in Data Science saying you had "superb exit velocity" in BP.

Great jo by Mesa picking up the ball barehanded AND not brining it back into his glove Hamilton seemed like he was worrying about technique and touching the bag with his right foot. Both these things are stuff practiced early in ST like they said about the relay.
WHAT A RELAY 😮‍💨 Victor Mesa Jr. and Ben Williamson were perfect on this play!

#OGHittingTwitter is so back!
Vertimax aka Vertimagic action today in Individuals My favorite part after the mishit, on a pitch down and in just not what he’s supposed to be looking for, the Error Correction immediately after Error Correction very apparent in players who really hit hit IN GAME for us 🦅🦅🦅
