Taiwan’s military has not detected any PLA aircraft sorties near its Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) since February 27th, a period of five days. Weather is not poor, and activity is normal elsewhere. Possibly coincidentally, this coincides with the beginning of US military action in Iran and the beginning of the Lantern Festival.
5 PLAN vessels and 1 official ship operating around #Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. We have monitored the situation and responded. Illustration of flight path is not provided due to no PLA aircraft operating around Taiwan were detected during this timeframe.

China’s “fishing fleet” isn’t just catching tuna. It’s backed by subsidies, satellites, and maritime militia tactics to spread Chinese influence across the world. And the world is paying the price. #China #IllegalFishing #FoodSecurity #GlobalPower geopulselab.org/global-watch…

China said in 1988 that Fiery Cross Reef, inside the Philippine EEZ, was a fishermen’s shelter. That was a lie. It’s now a missile-armed airbase sitting on a major shipping route BELIEVE CHINA AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Yesterday's incident at the Sabina/ Escoda Shoal is way beyond the usual water cannoning of Filipino vessels by the China Coast Guard. Yesterday, for the first time, China China Coast Guard directly used water cannons on Filipino fishermen, inside the Philippines' waters. Escoda Shoal/ Sabina is very much inside Philippines's EEZ. China is now after Filipino civilians. This incident can't be written off, labeling it as an another Chinese Gray Zone warfare incident. @yeshuaformosa @PacStandardTW @DrewPavlou @RealTonySLee @RommelFLopez.

AFP, Indian Armed Forces Strengthen Ties in 2nd PH–India Maritime Cooperative Activity in the West Philippine Sea The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Indian Armed Forces successfully carried out the 2nd PH–India Bilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) in the West Philippine Sea, marking another milestone in the growing maritime security partnership between the two nations on November 26, 2025. Conducted in one of the most strategically important maritime zones in the region, the activity aimed to deepen defense cooperation, enhance interoperability, and promote adherence to international law and a rules-based order in the Indo-Pacific. For this year’s iteration, the AFP deployed a formidable lineup of naval and air assets, including the BRP Jose Rizal (FF150), Philippine Airforce’ FA50s, and a W-3A Sokol Search and Rescue helicopter. The Indian Navy, meanwhile, showcased its capabilities through the participation of the INS Sahyadri, a modern guided missile frigate equipped with an onboard helicopter. Throughout the engagement, both forces executed a series of coordinated maritime exercises designed to refine tactical skills and strengthen joint response capabilities. The activities covered Communication Exercises (COMMEX) and Flag Hoist Drills, which honed visual and radio communication procedures between the two navies. They also conducted Officer of the Watch (OOW) Maneuvers accompanied by a Photo Exercise with a fly by or low pass of FA50s, demonstrating precise and cooperative maritime formation. The activity was culminated by a Steampast or passing exercise (PASSEX), symbolizing unity and shared commitment between the Philippines and India in safeguarding maritime domains. The successful conduct of the 2nd MCA reflects the growing synergy between the AFP and the Indian Navy as both countries continue to expand defense cooperation. It also underscores their mutual commitment to maintaining peace, stability, and freedom of navigation in the region. As maritime security challenges continue to evolve, both sides affirmed that such cooperative activities will remain a vital platform for strengthening regional defense posture and enhancing the capacity to respond to future contingencies at sea. ## #AFPyoucanTRUST #OneAFPOnePHILIPPINES #StrongAFPStrongPHILIPPINES #OurSeasOurRightsOurFuture

A great observation by @GordianKnotRay , drawing the parallel between the success of #China's maritime expansion in the #SouthChinaSea and the relative setbacks by #Russia in #Ukraine. Gray-zone tactics has enabled China to acquire territory with minimal cost and without resorting to conventional warfare

One would think #China would prioritize establishing reserves closer to its own borders, like the #EastChinaSea, where enforcement could be more efficiently managed. This decision is a geopolitical strategy rather than environmental sustainability

As you can see with their movements it can't be put better than 'loitering'. It's showing the power the #ChinaCoastGuard have to do whatever they want in others #EEZ's & can't be refuted due to the economic leverage they can exert
