Y'all, the XRPL devs are lockin' the ranch gate tonight 🤠🔒
They've proposed 4 fixes, bundled as fixCleanup3_5_0, so "restricted" tokens (the kind an issuer has to approve you for, like regulated stablecoins and tokenized securities) can't slip into accounts that never got the OK. AMM pool shares would need approval for both tokens, and a trust line that already has a balance can't skip the check anymore. Any unapproved balance could only go back to the issuer.
It's not live yet. It still has to be merged, and then it needs over 80% of trusted validators for two straight weeks. The XRPL Foundation says no users were affected.
That's the kind of fence-mendin' big institutions want to see before they bring the herd 🐂
