Please disregard the first pitch, I slipped. Otherwise, have arm, will pitch (or something like that), please tell your friends, tell your enemies, I’ll pitch anywhere any time
Before gambling apps were legal in New York, I found out an acquaintance had gone out of his way to put a bet in on the LLWS and it was generally agreed that was the sign he was developing a problem.

Big time sleeper for the 2027 draft class ⬇️
2027 RHP Thomas LoBello (School of the Future)

CT: 85-87
Quick inning of work for LoBello as he works a zero in under 10 pitches. Deliberate mechanics with a bulldog mentality.

#SDSU commit Thomas Lobello (‘27, NY) was sharp this morning punching out 13 thru 6 innings of work. FB sat in upper 80s (T90) paired w/ a SL in the upper 70s. Athletic mover, SL was go to pitch to create whiffs. #NEPreQual @PG_Scouting
I am overjoyed that I now have something I can send to my friend who is a talented songwriter/musician that will inspire the same amount of anger in him as the “I could luck into a home run” tweet does for me

Had a great time at East Coast Pro tryouts @ Villanova last Friday! Super thankful for being selected for the tryout and very excited to see what happens!

Young man is going to be quite good, even if it is difficult to tell at this distance

Last year my shoulder wasn’t recovering between outings. We kinda did our best, didn’t do much imaging, and it eventually “resolved” itself enough I could continue throwing.
This year it returned, and the Mets instantly flew me across the country for intensive tests and images and diagnosed the problem - arterial TOS. 95% of the blood meant to flow down into my arm was being stopped at the shoulder.
It’s now completely fixed and my shoulder has never felt better. But for being so diligent the Mets will get dinged on this chart for having more IL days compared to if we just nursed it along well enough to get by.
As Eno covers in this article, there’s a million ways to interpret this data, and there’s so many factors it’s hard to really draw much from it.

Excited to the close out the regular season with my first no hitter of the year and grateful for my team for having my back! First time I had 21ks in a game. Finished the year with 85 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched.

To me, that’s preposterous.

Jesus Luzardo altered the grip on his changeup.
It's 1.5 mph slower w/ 7" more drop. He killed ~300 rpm on the pitch by moving his middle finger over and rotating the ball's orientation.
SwgStrk, chase & whiff on the pitch are all up vs righties compared to 2025. #Phillies
The first home run of the 2026 NPB season belongs to Trey Cabbage!
