Later Boomers/early GenX were the ones that had their retirement age lifted to 67 and their SS taxes increased when they were in their 20s. They didn't bitch or whine because they understood the idea of supplementing the elderly who could no longer participate in the workforce or had fallen on hard times in their old age. Many of us helped our parents and Grandparents in their older years, out of love and respect.
This generation is all "Fuck Grandpa - what did he ever do for me?" It's reprehensible.

My wife and I know several people who had dysfunctional families growing up, but have learned from the Gospel how to have happy families as adults.
It makes us mad how many people there are who grew up with happy families but take it for granted and think it's unkind to promote the standards they benefited from.
