ALT We are pleased to announce an upcoming Project Scientist position at ESA to work on Euclid – due to launch in 2023, it will probe the evolution of the dark Universe. We are looking for a scientist with experience in large-scale cosmological surveys, and in organising and coordinating scientific and technical teams. Further details are outlined below. If you have an interest and experience in any of these aspects, we encourage you to apply. The primary responsibility of the Euclid Project Scientist will be to ensure that the scientific objectives are achieved and to keep the mission and its science prominent and visible. In this context, you would act as the interface between the relevant teams (including operations, the Euclid Science Team, the Euclid Consortium) on all scientific matters, e.g. for approving the observing plan and overseeing data releases. An active researcher is sought for this position and an interest in scientific communication would be an asset.
