Healthcare’s top lobbyists just dropped nearly $285 million in the first half of 2026 alone.
Meanwhile #DirectCare spent exactly $0.
We don’t buy influence. We just take care of patients and let the receipts speak.

Healthcare has confused financing with insurance.
Routine care should be purchased.
Catastrophic care should be insured.
Most employers have never been shown the difference.

DOJ should now indict HHS & Congress for overpaying hospital services vs independents, a fraud that dwarfs this piddling amount and one that has lined DC pockets for decades. This theater is a decoy/distraction from Uncle Sam, the ultimate fraudster. GKS
The DOJ just announced the National Health Care Fraud Takedown – 455 defendants charged, including 90 doctors and licensed medical professionals, in connection with over $6.5 billion in alleged fraud.
Thank you to @TheJusticeDept and the @WHFraudTF for this historic effort to protect American taxpayers and patients.

Leadership in elected office means servant leadership.
It means serving the people, standing on your record, and answering tough questions.
I’ve spent my entire adult life serving others—in the military, in medicine, in business, and in public office.
Meanwhile, after five years in Congress, Julia Letlow has not had a bill signed into law and, in these final days of the campaign, she still refuses to debate the issues facing Louisiana.
Instead of making her case to voters, she’s spending millions on attack ads, filing lawsuits, and claiming she’s being treated unfairly.
If a candidate won’t show leadership while asking for your vote, how will they lead in the U.S. Senate?

I eagerly await the responses of @HelenaMorenoLA
@JPMorrell and @AGLizMurrill who were quick to give credence to hoax stories (doll non-incident, Thoth throw at Fed non-incident). Here we have a legit incident: liquor bottle thrown from top deck of Zulu float hurts a child.

This defined Alex Pretti. "...it is generally accepted that impulsivity refers to overt behaviors that are carried out as reactions to internal or external stimuli without much forethought...& without considering the negative outcomes caused by these impulsive behaviors."

Democrats went on CNN MSNBC and said that the National Guard was a fascist military force acting unlawfully. A terrorist answered their call. This is what the Seditious Six wanted to have happen.

The Federal Government has had the authority to shoot Terrorists and Rebels since the writing of the Constitution. An unarmed woman veteran January 6er was shot in cold blood. No cities burned.
Terrorists struck in 1794. They called it The Whisky Rebellion. Many were Revolutionary War veterans. Just like veterans today “protesting”. Federal troops were sent to squash it.
It’s the State and Federal Governments responsibility for our safety. Failure of the government will lead to local armed vigilante groups. Is this what you prefer? I prefer the Government enforce the Constitution like George Washington. #Congress #CORRUPTION US forces were used to put down the Whisky Rebellion in 1794. Defying the Federal Government makes you a Terrorist. The Federal Government is responsible for our safety. Failure of the Federal Government to protect us means we need armies of armed local vigilantes for protection. Is that what people want? #Congress #CORRUPTION britannica.com/event/Whiskey…

Exactly. We've never accepted a dime from this Ponzi scheme since our inception in 1997. GKS @FreeMarketMed
We’re essentially paying our entire lives into a single payer healthcare system ie socialized healthcare for seniors
Medicare = fixed safety net professional fee schedule, not market based pricing. Price controls create shortages which is one macro reason Medicare pts have difficulty finding physicians

Obamacare was the final nail in my coffin as a Family Physician. 10 years later I was quitting medicine. Direct Primary Care saved my career. I had to leave the corruption. Seeing sick people every 15-20 minutes is 💩 care and we know it. #Healthcare #Congress #CORRUPTION
To protect against any revisionist history, I recorded my immediate impact from ACA years ago. youtu.be/gyaJthxdgUs?si=EEK1…
And @BarackObama was definitely wrong. For paying patients and providers. Others won.

Everyone’s screaming about the $34 trillion national debt.
Cute.
Meanwhile, you’re paying $25,000 a year for the possibility of seeing a doctor and if you do, they’ll still send you a bill that could buy a car.
We didn’t build a healthcare system.
We built a $5 TRILLION tollbooth between you and not dying…

SITE NEUTRALITY SAVES PATIENTS MONEY.
CMS still won’t do it.
Same care.
Same room.
Bigger bill.
Because health systems own @cmsgov and wrote the rules.

$17,679 at our facility includes surgeon/anesthesia/facility/30 days PT/DME/pain & anti-clotting meds/home health visits for 5 days. Non-titanium implants $3500 or less is additional. Insurance carriers want no part of this, to Sanat's point. GKSMD
Here's the vision : let the doctors and the patients transact directly.
Example- physician owned specialty hospital specializing in orthopedics w top tier surgeons offering care bundles and published outcomes.
Total hip replacement: $19,500 cash price - including implant, 30 days of therapy services and unlimited telehealth followups. Finance in-house for up to 60 months at prime plus 2% (screw Klarna - do it yourselves) if doing a cash price.
Let the patients control the money
Lift the cap on tax deductible contributions to HSAs to $7500 per individual and up to $20,000 per family of four, annually. Zero capital gains w account max limits of $75,000 for individuals and $250,000 for families of four.
Encourage self directed HSA accounts, including for Medicaid/Medicare (we already spend $8000 per capita on Medicaid recipients - provide some guardrails for where funds can be spent to mitigate the EBT debacle.)
Watch the RCM and coding industries collapse because you're not spending 15 cents of every dollar trying to follow the money trail.
Watch EPIC and the other EHR companies become less relevant because they are nothing more than glorified medical charge capture companies.
Watch the middlemen of healthcare financiers suddenly devalued to the point they may actually have to start delivering some actual value to the system; instead of leveraging ever nebulous arbitrage opportunities.
Watch pricing become crystalline.
Watch the D-tier B school graduates, who increasingly land in healthcare admin, having to give up the 5 series BMW and settle for driving the same Camrys and Civics that dot the physician parking lots nowadays.
Watch the practice of medicine become relevant again, because physicians get to connect their value props directly to their patients. (Not the stem cell clinics. Avoid those.)
Get out of our damn way and let us build something better.

The future of medicine is in treatment for the rare occasions of infection, not injecting the masses with toxins and adjuvants in the off chance they will be exposed to said pathogen.
When they use relative risk reduction as an efficacy endpoint because the disease is so RARE they cannot properly even study it, that tells me the risk of the masses even getting the infection is exceedingly low. All of these resources should go to treatment. JMHO.

All diseases on the childhood vaccine schedule in the US cover either trivial or treatable diseases. That’s a fact.
If you delay vaccination until after infancy, you might as well not give them at all. We see issues in many infants with the current schedule. There are many confounders, and ALL need to be studied. Prenatal ultrasounds, administering Tylenol during pregnancy, Tylenol in babies after vaccines, genetic component, and the vaccines themselves. We truly need RCTs on every single one of them. There is a crisis in our children and we need to put monetary incentives aside and get back to the scientific method and true randomized placebo controlled trials to identify what exactly is going on.

That’s just a good start at the VA. I was a Family Physician at the Hampton VA. Working there was so terrible and administrators were so ABUSIVE after 14 months I didn’t want to be a Physician anymore. It’s a pity of despair. FIRE every single top VA administrator at every hospital. Especially Hampton.
