With all due respect, “personhood” is not a magical trump card that overrides the basic principles of the republican form of government. One cannot conclude from the bare fact of personhood that anyone and everyone has a right to be counted in the census, to vote, or to stand for office.
U.S. bishops are opposing proposed Census Bureau rule changes for the 2030 census, arguing that excluding noncitizens without lawful permanent resident status from the apportionment count would effectively deny them recognition as persons. ewtnnews.com/world/us/u-s-bi…

Universal Democracy is a failure worse than every other type of government.
Portland’s Royal Sonesta: bought for $108.3M in 2016. Now reportedly sold for $6.83M for 220 rooms—just $31,000 per key. A staggering 93.7% price collapse. This is what happens when government fails at public safety, downtown disorder spirals, Measure 110’s consequences go unaddressed, and Multnomah County’s mental-health system fails people in crisis. Tourism doesn’t thrive where visitors feel unsafe and downtown businesses struggle to survive. Portland didn’t get here by accident. Policy choices have consequences—and taxpayers, workers, businesses, and property owners are paying the price. @mitch4portland @pnwpolicyangel @TeacherTiff4PDX @kanalforpdx @MayorKWilson

This collapse is happening in Portland, Seattle, and other cities. These places haven't recovered from the COVID era, which gave us lockdowns, the George Floyd riots, and the de facto legalization of drug-and-crime-generating homeless encampments. A policy disaster.

Lula da Silva’s party has posted a message stating that more arrests of opposition figures are coming in the next few hours. In this instance, it concerns Senator Deltan Dallagnol. The situation unfolding in Brazil is extremely serious; it is likely that all opposition figures will be imprisoned.

Why do you think the media coordinates to hide the scale of Islamic on Christian violence? Do you think mainstream media journalist and editors know the difference between right and wrong? Do you think they have souls? Do you think they are human?

None of the flags flying in the French riots are French. Palestinian. Algerian. That’s not a riot that’s a coup. A foreign coup. When the people in the street are waving the flags of other nations while the country burns, the national project has already failed. We forget that the state exists to protect a people, not to manage the competing claims of every imported identity. France is showing the end state of multiculturalism in real time. America is one election away from deciding whether it wants the same outcome.

We have to take a hard line against Leftwing extremism and violence. It represents a clear and present danger to civilization and all that we hold dear.
🚨 NOW: Sec. Marco Rubio just said it PERFECTLY in front of dozens of global officials on leftist terrorism "You are here because two weeks ago, a 72-year-old woman was BURNED on over 80% of her body in her own home, in Greece, and she died, executed by a fire bomb because her daughter dared to stand for office!" "Far-left political terrorism is NOT a recent day modern novelty. It is NOT a fiction manufactured by conservative politicians." "For most of the modern era, it was in fact the DOMINANT form of political violence." "You are here today because for five days this winter, the lights went out in Berlin. The longest blackout in the city since the Second World War sparked by an attack that left tens of thousands of households without power in the freezing cold and left an 83-year-old woman dead." "You are here and you came because a month after that Berlin blackout, a French 23-year-old succumbed to traumatic brain injuries beaten to death on the streets of Lyon by a group of far-left militant thugs." "You are here because your political leaders are being attacked and stabbed and shot in your streets — because your businesses have been bombed, because your railways have been sabotaged, because your police officers have been beaten and burned!"' "You are here because this is real and it is getting worse and it can no longer be denied and it can no longer be ignored because it is time to crush this evil forever!"

I am not kidding about the demons in LA btw. My best friend works at McDonald’s and some dude tried getting her to be his sugar baby while she was handing him his order in the drive thru. My other friend was on a film set and one of the actors tried getting him to be in her p0rno outta nowhere while he was helping her down a hill. And I was acting in a film where I learned one of the stuntmen was invited to this house and they were trying to get him into a cult while doing a bunch of demonic rituals. Bunch of unclothed men in bed. No clothes at all. He immediately left. Not to mention I’ve been followed and attacked by drug addicts. I know people who were almost killed. DONT COME TO LA. DONT DO IT.
Young women. PLEASE avoid Los Angeles Don’t be like my naive self and move to LA in your 20s. There’s literal demons here and it’s very dangerous. If you REALLY want that Cali life, skip that and look in Orange County. There is a young woman moving from LA to OC pipeline and I am trying to be one of them. 😭😭😭 If you’re going to insist on LA then check out Playa Vista. The safest spot (and prettiest) in all of LA and has the smartest people. Also security guards drive around this part of town 24/7.

Brazilian authorities and media are trying to find out where Flavio Bolsonaro is. Brazil's notorious authoritarian Judge Alexandre de Moraes -- before the votes were counted -- already had an order prepared to seize Bolsonaro's passports and bar him from leaving the country even though **he's been charged with no crime** (there are various pending financial investigations). Moraes signed the order barring Bolsonaro from leaving Brazil SEVEN MINUTES after Lula was declared the winner on Sunday night. A media outlet in Argentina this morning reported that Bolsonaro entered Argentina to fly to the US. His friends and allies deny this, but Flavio could easily just appear in Brazil or even by video and has not done so. Argentina is being sketchy, evasive and somewhat uncooperative with Brazil's federal police (Lula and Milei are obviously not allies). Whatever else is true, it is not exactly a sign of a healthy, normal or functioning democracy when the candidate who narrowly loses a presidential race -- and concedes defeat -- is suddenly barred from leaving the country by a Supreme Court Judge now globally notorious for censoring, imprisoning and otherwise persecuting his critics and opponents of Lula's government. It is also worth noting that Bolsonaro's party dominates the Senate, having run on a vow to impeach Moraes, and this is seen by many as a kind of leverage/hostage ploy by Moraes to cling to power.
