Government bureaucrats held up the release of this information until the White House got involved.
We know because we asked for exactly what ended up being released and got the deep state runaround.

Clearly FOIA laws and processes need rapid, massive reforms.
- Americans shouldn’t have to wait to learn of corruption until the government decides it’s okay.
- FOIA helps make citizen powered oversight of their government possible. This is the backbone of our constitutional Republic: an informed and virtuous citizenry. Compliance shouldn’t become secondary to special document release pipelines within the bureaucracy or with Congress. Those institutions lack public trust.
- Noncompliance with FOIA should have consequences.
Control over information is a main weapon by which the entrenched government conceals corruption and manipulates public opinion. FOIA can help citizens take control, but not if the government weaponizes it through obstruction.
We won’t always have a White House Transparency Task Force to force the release of documents that BELONG TO YOU. Remember, it’s your government.
