Critical path to automate bar saw tending:
Remove piece from saw -> Deburr -> Clean -> Quality check -> Pack
Our saw programs often last >1hr, cutting dozens of pieces out of a single raw bar. Fail to automate any one of these tending steps- and you need a human at the saw the entire time.
Appreciate Ryan and Swapnil for showing us progress on our automated cutting cell. This will free up our technicians to do more value added work, increasing capacity and driving down costs for our customers further.
