Rescued from human-wildlife conflict, Ganesh has since only seen the world through one good eye only. However, that changed when Vitthal, who never leaves his side, entered his life forming an inseparable friendship visible to everyone at the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre (MLRC).
As we celebrate Ganesh’s 13th rescuversary, take a look at how these two non-biological brothers spend their days together, supporting each other, no matter what!

“Mountain regions are highly sensitive to environmental change.”
“The Himalayan glaciers in the 2010s melted 65 per cent faster than the previous decade, which is generating cascading climate risks. Disasters are increasing in frequency and intensity across the region, and communities, particularly the most vulnerable, are struggling to cope with the onslaught of droughts, floods, and extreme weather. These hazards are also wiping out investments in infrastructure - including hydropower and roads."
“The pace of climate change across the Himalayan mountain range is generating enormous economic losses. Those most impacted but least to blame must be compensated, and leaders gathered in #COP28 must make emergency emissions reductions now to avert even more catastrophic impacts in this, one of the world’s most populated zones.”

A place where a #leopard lives...
A short September update at wildleopard.net telling why the leopard Thagu (including video) gives me hope.
A lot of challenges of late, I thank those who care about these remarkable big cats and their importance.

I'm sorry I can't reply to everyone individually in your tweets remembering Aditya Dicky Singh. I'm down with a bad viral fever.
Among his many notable qualities, @adityadickysin was also a stout defender of liberty.
He had told me many times to tag him if ever I needed defence from trolls. He was a fierce feminist, a rationalist and a lover of democracy. He was completely against any bullshit and polarization, and his strong opinions were lightly held and fully backed with research. He loved to be able to help others.
While I remember him for the tigers, I also remember him for his generosity and kindred spirit towards humanity.

Hi jack, the news of its death was false, the animal is still alive. It’s diagnosed with CDV. The animal was shifted from Indore zoo (MP) back to Dewas forest department (MP) on Sunday in views of safety of the zoo animals.
Here is its fit video (heard, fit has stopped now)
