An American League East title.
An American League pennant.
An unexpected trip to the #WorldSeries
106 wins, most ever in #Rays history.
An unprecedented 2026 season to be proud of, even amid a frustrating finish.
Congrats, @Brewers. Y’all earned this.
Thank you, Tampa Bay 🙏🏻

Congrats to the Brewers. There now are 4 teams without a World Series title:
Rays
Mariners
Rockies
Padres
The Milwaukee Brewers left no doubt. They are the best team in baseball and the deserved World Series Champs. Congratulations to Pat Murphy and the entire organization. Enjoy, Brewers fans.

The Rays are the 5th team to force a Game Five in the World Series when down 3-0, joining:
2024 Yankees
1970 Reds
1937 Giants
1910 Cubs
None forced a Game 6
Yet
With the exception of the 5th inning in Game 3, this World Series has gone as planned. The Brewers have been better in those critical moments. The Rays were a little better last night. We might have a lot more baseball left.

For the first time, I agree with the ratings naysayers. This World Series' drawing power is done and dusted. Credit to the Brewers for sucking the life out of it.
