The “olive oil” in your kitchen may contain no olive oil at all. Even if the label says “Made in Italy.”
A 60 Minutes investigation exposed just how easy it is to disguise cheap sunflower oil as the olive oil you buy for your health.
But even genuine olive oil can lose much of what makes it beneficial. Here’s what to look for before buying your next bottle. 🧵

Jackson had the same spine injury that left Christopher Reeves paralyzed for life. He fully recovered, stunning the world
His mom’s secret? DMSO—a simple compound vets use for spinal injuries the FDA won’t approve. But that’s not the only “incurable” neurological disorder DMSO helps.
Approximately 2000 studies support DMSO's use for conditions ranging from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's to strokes, MS, ALS, chronic pain, neuropathy, depression, epilepsy, and Down syndrome, and a physician who began treating his patients with it estimates roughly 80% of what people see neurologists for goes away with DMSO.🧵

Here’s my 40,000-foot view of the coup in Poland and how it connects to the Russia-Ukraine war and our midterms.
Poland is the main land bridge. It shares a long border with Ukraine and Belarus and has been the primary corridor for Western weapons, ammunition, fuel, and aid since 2022. It hosts refugees, NATO troops, and forward bases. Whoever controls the Polish government controls how easily that pipeline stays open or gets restricted.
The previous PiS governments were strongly pro-Ukraine and anti-Russia but clashed with the EU over sovereignty and the courts. Tusk’s government is locked into the Brussels position and is more likely to keep maximum pressure on Russia and less likely to support any deal that involves territorial compromise, reduced arms flows, or energy arrangements with Moscow.
President Trump wants to end the war. Any negotiation will involve territory, security guarantees, sanctions, and energy. European governments that want the war to continue until Russia is permanently weakened have leverage if they control the main supply route and the political narrative in a key frontline state. Keeping Poland inside a hard-line EU consensus makes it harder for Washington to cut a deal that parts of Europe will immediately reject or try to sabotage.
Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal just called what is happening a coup. Police on the court. The president turning his plane around mid-flight. The same forces that spent years using institutions against President Trump are moving openly in Europe, and the timing is not a coincidence.
We are days from our midterms. What happens in Congress determines whether the next two years are justice and momentum or nonstop investigations and blocks. You voted for President Trump for four years, not two.
A hostile House weakens his hand abroad while he is trying to end the war.
Yesterday the head of the European Central Bank appeared on video with bandages on her face to announce she is stepping down. She later said it was minor skin-cancer surgery. The optics still landed in a week when Europe’s institutions are under visible strain and the war is still open.
President Trump is trying to end the war. The people seizing courts in Europe are working to make that harder. Capture the courts. Use the police. Call it rule of law. Marginalize anyone who resists. Then use the result to shape the larger map.
Vote MAGA. The people in the foxhole next to you are not the enemy.

Stop scrolling. Nobody on that set was ready for what he said next. He calls the media “an absolute joke,” says it’s a circus, and breaks down why half the country is walking around terrified, and why so many of us feel like we’re being lied to. Then he drops the one move that makes all of it lose its power over you, and it will change how you see your whole feed. The last 10 seconds are what everyone is arguing about, so watch to the end. What if the fear you feel every day was never yours to begin with?

NOTHING TO SEE HERE, UTAH
Mike Mckell - Utah State Senator and brother-in-law of Governor Spencer Cox - was the Senate sponsor of HB 311, the bill that directed taxpayer dollars to fund a study of Utah's vote-by-mail system.
The study was assigned to Utah Valley University's Gary R. Herbert Institute for Public Policy (and the Center for Constitutional Studies). McKell has long been listed as an adjunct professor at UVU.
Governor Cox and Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson have been strong public advocates for vote-by-mail. They've administered and defended the system under which they themselves ran and won elections.
🛑Now Cox's brother-in-law sponsored the legislation that funneled public money into a study conducted by an institute at the university where he taught.
🚨 The results (released October 2026) found 'no evidence of significant or widespread fraudi and concluded that in-person and mail voting face similar risks - findings that aligned with the positions long held by Cox and Henderson.
🚩 These connections - family ties, prior university affiliation, legislative sponsorship of the funding, and the political stakes around vote-by-mail - raise legitimate questions about conflicts of interest and the appearance of a closed loop of influence.
🚨UTAH LG DEIDRE HENDERSON: ONE OF THE NEOCONS WHO SECRETLY COLLUDED TO HIJACK THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
Thank you @nataliegwinters for your reporting on the Johns Hopkins SNF Agora / R Street “Civic Right” / Conservative Agenda for Democracy effort lines up tightly with this public coordination between two of its named architects.
Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson (explicitly listed as one of the public-side architects alongside Brad Raffensperger, Phil McGrane, and Scott Schwab) posted this the day before the 2024 election, amplifying a WSJ op-ed she co-wrote with Raffensperger.
The piece frames social-media election claims as largely “misinformation” pushed by foreign adversaries and “domestic arsonists” for their own benefit, while urging voters to trust the system and dismiss widespread doubts.
That matches the pattern your piece documents:
• Private, off-the-record dinners + full-day sessions (Chatham House rules) organized with local officials, followed by Signal networks for statewide election officials and staff.
• The explicit goal of “retaking the local party apparatus,” with longer-term plans already underway in places like Kansas and Kentucky.
• The strategic emphasis on “quieter action” that avoids “unwanted attention,” while still coordinating messages in conservative outlets, talking to Republican leadership in Congress and the White House, and preparing future candidates/officials.
• Advisers with progressive backgrounds (e.g., former Open Society Foundations grantmaker Mark de la Iglesia) and major funding from Carnegie ($500k) and Hewlett ($1.85M+ for Civic Right work, plus separate R Street support).
• The longer-term aim of building “a different kind of conservatism or Republicanism” by pushing “from the inside out” among people already in the party.
Henderson and Raffensperger weren’t just passive names on a Johns Hopkins announcement. They were publicly synchronizing on election-trust messaging right before a national election, the exact domain the initiative was built around, while the private side of the project stressed low-visibility coordination among election officials and local party rebuilding.
The public op-ed + the private-meeting structure + the named architects + the funder/advisor ties form a consistent picture: Republican election officials and allied organizers working to manage narratives, protect institutional credibility, and shape the party’s direction without drawing the kind of open confrontation that would cost seats or credibility.
Your Substack fills in the behind-the-scenes machinery; this Henderson post is one of the visible outputs.

This is not about fake Dan Sullivan, it’s about those who recruited him. In Utah it was the Governor and Lt Governor who recruited and PAID fake Lyman to run against THEMSELVES. Who did you condemn then? Not @LGHendersonUtah, not @GovCox, but me. Just say it: “Cox Cheated.” Shameful indeed.

🚨 BREAKING: Journalists James O’Keefe and Cam Higby have been hit with TWO FELONY CHARGES in Minneapolis for their video EXPOSING vulnerabilities in Minnesota’s elections
This is TOTAL LAWFARE!
@camhigby walked in wearing a burqa to show they’d let him vote with a WOMAN’S name with NO questions asked, and he could even “vouch” for some other unregistered “Muslim” (who was @JamesOKeefeIII in a costume)
NEITHER of them voted.
The charges include felony unlawful voting and identity theft.
It’s a WITCH HUNT to try to SCARE OFF conservative journalists, and nothing more.

But it went even deeper than that.

Every cell in your body is wrapped in a membrane stiffened with cholesterol.
Every nerve is insulated with myelin packed with cholesterol.
Your brain is 2% of your body weight and holds about a quarter of your cholesterol.
Breast milk is loaded with it, because a baby's brain can't be built without it.
Most infant formula has almost none.
Pregnancy raises it by up to half, because building a human takes a lot of it.
Eat less of it and your liver simply makes more, because the body refuses to run without it.
Then, in the late 1970s, we declared war on it.
Around 8 million people in England now take a pill to lower it.
That pill raises the risk of diabetes by about a tenth.
Sperm counts have more than halved.

Replying to @JustineBateman
@JustineBateman About a third of the way into your @clubrandom_ appearance with @billmaher and it seems like Bill's vague notion of what "AI" even is is pretty much exactly what the "AI" companies seemingly chose the name "AI" itself for, and engineered their approach to public relations to foster, to ensure maximum profitability.
That is, he seems to be relying on a vague foundation established mostly by a lifetime of science fiction that promised incomprehensibly "intelligent" computer-beings, that "know" everything and can do anything. Magic, basically.
It was somewhat surreal how he so confidently asserted that neither of you, or just most people, can't even understand "AI", presumably because he doesn't. And to the point of using body language and tonal cues to essentially say "I am unwilling to consider otherwise, and I assume you are unreasonable if you say otherwise". Thus, apparently, necessitating reliance on the special (and apparently inherently trustworthy) "smart" people, as if they have not put a ton of effort into massaging their public image and narratives to convince people of exactly that.
It seems like exactly the sort of obvious social plays and patterns and clearly manufactured narratives that he'd see through and call out in other contexts, but it's as if he has simply decided that this computer stuff is somehow beyond his mental abilities, enough to just trust the hype and narratives of the people who claim to be experts, and tell him things that align with his biases, anyway.
Perhaps, like many seem to, he wanted to believe in magic, was convinced to start doing so, found it felt good, and is sticking with it. He is famously irreligious, after all, and I've found a lot of people like that end up religious about something else eventually, without realizing it. 🤷
Anyway, you're doing a good job with the subtle facial nuances of the "uh oh, I'm not sure I can get to anything resembling reality, from where he is right now, in a reasonable amount of time, if ever" character performance, especially as I assume you didn't specifically rehearse it right beforehand. 😇
