So here’s a short video of the 9+” of powder from the top of the Headwall, above the Cirque, into Casper Bowl, on PowderWednesday. What a beautiful day.
Harvested my Asian pears today because we have frost warnings coming. Decent size but not as many as years past.
I have a Cyberbeast loaner today, since my non-beast CT is in the shop for an air suspension fix. Build 36xxx, where mine is 64xxx. Suspension is a little tauter; otherwise, it feels the same. Is there anything I should try before I return it this afternoon?
Since I was asked about the pizza oven, it's a Halo Versa 16. It's special because the pizza stone rotates, and it has a 2nd burner under the stone. Makes cooking pizza almost foolproof. No uncooked sides, and no raw dough due to a cold stone.
Last evening with sis and nephew, so I started the new firepit, and we made pizzas. Firepit worked well, as the steel walls heat up and radiate. Minimal stoking needed, as it burnt itself down.
Honestly, I was not expecting that at all. Fans to hold the car down, yes. Spoilers for high-speed driving, yes. Hovering, maybe. But actual flying with barrel rolls, no.
Oh my god, no need for the rest of the Mobius loop, it just flew off and flipped, hahaha. We got the flying cars we were promised. Insane. @Tesla

The Beehive and Precipice hikes are known for their iron rungs and bars, providing handholds and footholds on the climb up. Coming back from a hamstring strain and a MCL injury, I was really happy I was feeling good that day.
Hiked around Acadia National Park with sis and nephew. Perfect weather, perfect foliage. Went up the Beehive and Precipice trails.
Rearranging the bookshelves, and I found old pics of me windsurfing off Shacks Beach, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, 1987. So much fun!
This cute little "library" was attached to the end of a fallen pine tree at the entrance of Lily pond, and the tree eventually collapsed into the muck. My neighbor rescued it and will repurpose it by the end of our road.
Lexi has had some of her cool watercolors used as top sheets for custom-made wagnerskis.com out of Telluride. My ski budget is shot for this year, but a pair of Summit 105s, with Alta graphic are on my list for next year.
Interesting, to me, maybe not to others, but I happened to be skiing at Snowbird, staying at the Iron Blosam in back, and there was a coppery Cybertruck that looked a bit like Corten. I figured he must have wanted one too.
Replying to @ICannot_Enough
When the Cybertruck was first announced, I was kind of hoping for Corten steel panels:
Made that short club for him using a broken graphite shaft from a 2-iron. I had played Royal County Down earlier that year right after the Senior Open, and was letting my backyard grow wild, more heather-like. If you know RCD, it's famous for its heather and bearded bunkers. Fun!
I got my 150lb @edgeright fire pit today, after seeing it here on X. Something about heavy steel plate looked satisfying. After assembling it wrong 3x, I finally figured out how it puzzled together on the 4th try. Then I rearranged my deck chairs.
When I saw the 1st stage of @SpaceX Starship, last week, the first thing it reminded me of was a beautiful image looking up at the ceiling of the Sagrada Família. It's not quite as good a comparison as I first thought, but they both inspire awe and wonder. Kudos to the photogs.
I tell myself not to buy too much "stuff", but Prime makes it too easy. Saw this induction wok cooker that looked interesting. What was really interesting is that the coil is rounded! Ideally, it would be 240v, for 3000watts of power, but alas, it's only 120v. So far, so good.
Got a free @Starlink mini that I put on the dash of my @cybertruck. A 300GB monthly subscription is $80, but I can keep it in Standby mode for $10. It’ll still connect at low speeds for emergencies. Ready for roadtrips!
My nephew in med school turned 27 today. I recently came across this photo of him hitting golf balls in my backyard, 24yrs ago when he was just three. He was out there for 2hrs hitting one after another with natural form. Now that he's grown up, he can't hit a ball at all!
New Watch Ultra4 to replace an Ultra1. Still 96% capacity, but faster HR sensors and free sat connectivity are worth it to me. I'm an easy sell when it comes to safety. Watch battery lasts longer than my phone so having a redundant way to connect to a satellite is good.
