Q. What is it to embrace Christ?
A. It is, like Simeon, to clasp him in the arms of faith, with complacency and
delight; Luke 2:28.
Q. Where is it that faith embraces him?
A. In the promises of the gospel, Heb. 11:13 — Fisher's Catechism 31.9-10
Isn’t this Darline’s job to be talking about this?
The world is gonna world. Sinners are dead in their sins. Storefront church setting or grand stone church matters not. What matters is is the gospel being proclaimed from the pulpit.
Would be a decent pick I suppose but is he a good temperamental fit, going from show horse senator to workhorse jurist?
🚨 JUST NOW: President Trump reveals he'd nominate TED CRUZ to be the next Supreme Court Justice should one leave the bench during his term in office
"The Democrats will 100% vote for it because they HATE the guy and they want to get rid of him. And the Republicans would 100% vote for it because they can't STAND him" 😂
"They would like to get rid of him! So I'd get 100% of the vote, and he would be a Supreme Court justice, and he'd do a GREAT job."
I did NOT expect that announcement tonight 😆

I love serving this church. @FaithPresGF began when the new congregation particularized in the PCA in 1995. In 2007, the church relocated to what was then the Grand Cities Mall (now known as Midtown District), occupying a large office in the profession office wing. In April 2008, the congregation moved into a mall space formerly occupied by a local florist. And then, just over 4 years ago, we moved into this current space (an old Radio Shack). In June 2016, the church decided to transfer into the OPC and was subsequently received as a mission work under Carson/Bismarck (now Mandan). I was called to the pastor on January 15, 2017 and was installed July 31, 2017.
May the Lord continue to grant us his mercy and grace in the years to come. If you're ever in the Grand Forks area, we'd love to have you join us for worship!
Saviour, if of Zion's city
I, through grace, a member am,
let the world deride or pity,
I will glory in thy name.
Fading is the worldling's pleasure,
all his boasted pomp and show;
solid joys and lasting treasure
none but Zion's children know.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.
Because the Bible says so? This is kind of a dumb question tbh.
In talking about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, @SeanHannity asked me, “Why do you think the time is near?” Watch this short clip for my answer…

I mean OK but don’t conservative parties now control the Brazilian legislature? So isn’t it divided government? Isn’t it up to the Brazilians to govern themselves?
As I reported hours ago, Flávio Bolsonaro has arrived safely in United States.
The mastermind behind this operation is U.S. Secretary of State @SecRubio .
From the United States, free and safe, Flávio will lead the opposition against Lula.
I go to a conservative Presbyterian church and no one has volunteered to me they are voting for her. Granted we don’t talk politics too much. But I highly doubt many if anyone I know at church is voting for her.
I live in South Carolina and have a fairly large friend group. My friends are typically conservative and church-goers. Most of us are fathers and mothers. Many of us are highly-educated professionals. As far as I can tell, all of us will be voting for @AnnieAndrewsMD. Good luck!
