I also thank our General Secretary, @twallafadil, and all our senior leaders for their guidance and commitment.
I pledge to serve Uganda with dedication, integrity, and patriotism. Together, as PLU, we shall continue championing accountability, transparency, and efficient service delivery.

The claims circulating (including the purported letter dated 9 October 2026 and associated posts) that the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) is in the process of registering as a political party are false, malicious, and illegal.
The Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda has been unequivocal and consistent that PLU remains a civic organization.
It's not, and will not, seek registration as a political party. Our political agenda will continue to be pursued firmly and exclusively through the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
Any individual or group purporting to act on behalf of PLU, or using the name, colours, symbols, or identity of the Patriotic League of Uganda to apply for or reserve political party status with the Electoral Commission (or any other authority), does so without authority. Such actions risk immediate legal action by the Patriotic League of Uganda.
We urge the public, members of PLU, and all stakeholders to completely disregard these claims. They are unauthorized, baseless, and designed to mislead.
PLU’s position is clear and unchanged, we operate as a civic organization within the NRM framework.
Anyone with genuine inquiries should rely only on official communications from the Patriotic League of Uganda Leadership.
