A True Definition of the Future: Honourable Fadil Twalli, PLU General Secretary: In the history of the Patriotic League of Uganda and the broader struggle for a better, stronger, and more patriotic Uganda, few names shine with the consistency, loyalty, and visionary energy of Honourable Fadil Twalla, the distinguished Member of Parliament for Tingey County and the current General Secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda. He is not merely a leader of the present; he is the living definition of the future we all desire , a future rooted in discipline, grassroots connection, unwavering loyalty, and practical service to the people and to the Generation Leader, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. It was in the Sebei sub-region that this journey of exceptional service first took clear national shape. On 21st January 2023, Honourable Fadil Twalla, then serving as a key mobiliser and chief coordinator of the MK Army Brigade structures in Sebei, successfully hosted Generation Leader Gen @mkainerugaba at Boma Grounds in Kapchorwa. That historic day saw thousands of the sons and daughters of Sebei from Kapchorwa, Kween, and Bukwo gather to receive the First Son. The event was not a casual visit; it was a carefully organised demonstration of love, readiness, and belief in the future leadership of Gen. Muhoozi. From tree-planting and youth engagement to sports promotion and direct interaction with the people, Fadil and the Sebei team delivered a memorable reception that left a lasting mark. From that January day in 2023, Honourable Fadil’s support for PLU and for Gen. Muhoozi has never reduced , not by a single degree. It has only grown deeper, more organised, and more national in character. Since that foundational hosting, Fadil has remained a steady rock. He continued as PLU Coordinator for the Sebei sub-region, building structures, nurturing cadres, and ensuring that the message of patriotism and continuity under Gen. Muhoozi reached every village and trading centre. When Gen. Muhoozi, in his wisdom, elevated him to the high office of General Secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda in June 2026, replacing the outgoing Hon. David Kabanda , it was not a surprise to those who had watched him work quietly and effectively for years. It was a recognition of proven loyalty, organisational capacity, and the ability to deliver results without drama. As General Secretary, Fadil has carried the weight of national coordination with humility and energy, strengthening structures from the secretariat down to the districts and ensuring that PLU remains a disciplined, focused, and people-centred movement. The recent visit to Mbale is the latest and most powerful proof that his support has never wavered. On 24th October 2026, at the Mbale Cricket Grounds, Honourable Fadil Twalla joined thousands upon thousands of Gen. Muhoozi’s supporters from across Bugisu Mbale City, Sironko, Bulambuli, Bududa, Manafwa, and Namisindwa for a massive endorsement Baraza. The crowds came in big numbers. The energy was electric. The people turned out in their multitudes to declare their support for Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba as the leader of the next generation and the natural successor in 2031. Fadil stood at the centre of that historic gathering, not as a distant official, but as a mobiliser who understands the pulse of the people. The warm reception he and the PLU team received was a clear message: the East stands firmly with the Generation Leader, and Fadil has been instrumental in making that solidarity visible and organised. @HonTwallafadil @nyamadon @mukulaa @kasujja @JustineNameere @MwesigyeFranks @JaneRuth_Aceng @LillianAber @SSssebunya @HonJoe_GMK @LORDPASCAL7 @Plumedia1 @MollyMukidiS @Kayera256

What happened in Mbale yesterday was one of the major events! Massive turnout, many artists on stage, and the people of Mbale showed big love to our General Secretary Hon. @HonTwallafadil . They moved almost 20 kilometres welcoming him, singing songs of praises Gen. @mkainerugaba all the way. The Baraza was historical. Mbale has openly declared Gen. MK as their next President.

To the great people of Mbale, we salute you! You showed up in big numbers and boldly endorsed Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba @mkainerugaba as our next President. Your unity and determination speak volumes. Thank you PLU General Secretary @HonTwallafadil for your relentless work and sacrifice to ensure that the genuine hope of Ugandans is fully endorsed across the country. Mbale has spoken! @nyamadon @MwesigyeFranks @WanyotoLydia @mbales_finest @HenryBasaliza1 @Coach_Gad @Plumedia1 @LORDPASCAL7 @chairtoyota @SSssebunya @MrJordanposts @kakensaug @kasujja

What stands out about Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba is not just his rank, but his consistent service to Uganda. He has defended this nation in uniform and continues to defend its future in politics. Ugandans are waiting for a leader who will protect our gains, create opportunities for the youth, and restore pride in hard work and patriotism.

The Mission of PLU is clear: To mobilise Ugandans to fulfil their civic duties for the benefit of society as a whole, and to jealously guard Uganda’s natural and social harmony. Patriotism is not a slogan. It is a duty.
