I think the whole Nudge thing is yet another example of what happens when an intuitively appealing, easy to understand and zeitgeisty idea gets picked up and promoted by sort of celebrity researchers.

To me that’s the most important lesson from the Zahawi affair. Tax law worked fine. HMRC did it’s job. Libel law is broken.
"I had no idea that a senior politician could say things that were just not true and take legal action or threaten to take legal action on that basis."
Nadhim Zahawi used libel law to stop journalists from exposing his taxes, says @DanNeidle on #TimesRadio.
