While we're on the subject, how about the fact that this bureaucratic psychopathy (a component of the DSA-LA "community agreement") is treated as actual actionable policy against membership by leadership!
"500 new teachers" your country has a population of 70 million, can you please lock in @EmmanuelMacron
BREAKING: France just offered sweeping education concessions to end weeks of student protests, and students say it’s not enough, per BBC
The government’s package:
3,000 extra substitute teachers for high-need schools and at-risk suburbs
Canceling planned teacher job cuts and adding 500 teaching jobs
Capping first-year high school classes at 28 students, starting with disadvantaged schools in 2027
Up to €4 billion ($4.5 billion) in low-interest loans to renovate schools through 2030, plus €1 billion for universities
15,000 new university places across 2027 and 2028
Raising student grants and tying them to inflation from 2027
Overhauling the Parcoursup university admissions system in 2027, then replacing it entirely in 2028
Student leaders vowed to keep protesting.

Attempts to "trojan horse" socialism by obscuring its opposition to capitalism, seeking office to tinker as technocrats rather than struggle alongside and among the working class, is the politics of fear born from the Red Scare that the communist left has rightfully abandoned.
DSA-LA leadership is going fucking bananas. They're down in the fuhrerbunker plotting to lose a lawsuit!

NEW: DSA's National Political Committee passed two resolutions tonight regarding Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman, setting up processes to potentially force DSA's Los Angeles chapter to rescind its endorsement of her campaign and/or expel her from DSA.
Here are copies of the 2 resolutions that passed:

Two very level-headed resolutions here but the thing I want to highlight the most for those in the DSA whining about this is the screenshot here because some of y’all don’t seem to realize the consequences of rampant opportunism

With 48% reporting, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has taken the lead over Flávio Bolsonaro. It looks like Lula is on track to pull off one of the biggest political comebacks in Brazilian history.

What terrifies me is if a DSA endorsee were to detonate a nuclear device and kill 50 million Americans. Imagine the backlash against SMC and GW?

One of the most radical institutions in America, abandoned since the Vietnam War, is exclusively deployed in service to imperialism: universal conscription. But what if we turned that same model inward towards the tasks of liberation? Drawing on his experience as a college professor and West Point graduate, Cyrus Cappo argues for a mandatory National Public Service Corps—a radical project to rebuild infrastructure, integrate alienated youth, and hand real leverage back to the working class.
