Good morning, it will now be pitch black at 4:30 pm for the next five months in Nashville. Falling back is indefensibly stupid and should end forever.

Inflation is a hidden tax, and reckless spending is what drives it. If you want lower prices, Congress needs to stop borrowing money we don’t have. Do you agree?

AUSTIN MAN slams into a stopped minivan at 103 mph on Mother's Day, right in front of a cop, and kills a fire captain hours after his fifth son was born. DA Jose Garza's office asked him to pay a small fine. Marvin Taylor was on his way to pick up his four other boys so they could meet their new baby brother. He was sitting at a red light on Koenig Lane when a Dodge Durango doing 103 in a 45 zone slammed into him and threw his van 150 feet. He died pinned inside. The officer found the driver, Rodney Bremby, with bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and stench of alcohol. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter, which carries up to 20 years in prison. A judge revoked his bond twice while the case was pending, and both times he was back out within two weeks. On Monday he got 10 years of probation, community service, and $535 in fees. Five boys have lost their father, and the man who killed him just had to pay a small fine and promise not do it again before going back home.

Kevin O’Leary cuts through all the noise on Minnesota with one simple question: “Why is all this happening in Minneapolis? Why?” As the panel scrambled to defend the blue city in a blue state, O’Leary kept the focus where it mattered — exposing the fraud. O’LEARY: “Simple question. Why is all this happening in Minneapolis? Why?” “Why has this become the domestic war zone? What is the reason? Is there a specific area that has caused this? Why?” “Because I think that’s really the question.” Phillip jumped in to defend Minneapolis and blame the Trump administration. PHILLIP: “Let me offer some possibilities. Minneapolis is a city of fewer than 500,000 people. The Trump administration decided to send 3,000 federal officers to that one city.” O’LEARY: “But WHY did they send them?” PHILLIP: “Why? Well, according to Trump, it’s because they’re going after fraud. But again…” O’LEARY: “Could there be fraud, Abby? Maybe?” “What about that fraud?” Tiffany Cross was not happy that the fraud was being exposed. CROSS: “But it’s not fraud, Kevin. That is BS.” O’LEARY: “What is it? Lot of money missing.” “Lot of money missing, taxpayers are asking.” CROSS: “He is targeting Minnesota because he keeps claiming he won it. He has not. And they are already trying to sow discord…” O’LEARY: “I think you’re deflecting the issue of the money that’s missing.”

No burning cars. No greased light poles. No mayhem. No property damage. A World Series celebration. Nothing to see here, excuse us as we close Wolski’s. A few hangovers and we’ll all be on time for work in the morning.

Remember when everyone thought Autism rates were skyrocketing in Minnesota because the autism program jumped from $600k to over $400 million in claims in just over 7 years, but it was just Somalis scamming the government. How tf did that story disappear so quickly..!? Lmao

My neighbor spent 14 years auditing rich people for the IRS Asked him the craziest thing he ever saw in an audit He said "I audited a guy in Dallas who made $1.1M, bought 3 houses, drove a new Escalade, and the IRS had to mail HIM a $7,430 refund check for being low-income" I thought he was bullshitting me until he walked me through the guy's file The auditor went into that office expecting to nail him for tax fraud. Six weeks later he had to close the audit with zero changes and release the guy's $7,430 low-income check You know why? Because the US tax code has two rules that turn into a legal money glitch when you stack them together First rule is that borrowed money is never taxable income. You can borrow $500k tomorrow morning and the IRS cannot touch a penny of it Second rule is IRS Revenue Ruling 78-38. It says any business expense, equipment, or heavy vehicle you buy on a credit card is 100% tax-deductible the exact day you swipe the card, even if you don't pay the bank back for 18 months (go look that ruling up btw, it's wild) His business brought in $420k in net profit, plus he pulled $680k in tax-free cash-out refinances off three rental houses. That's $1.1M in cash hitting his bank account in one year A normal W-2 earner making $420k bends over and wires $130,000 to Washington Instead, this guy used his 740 credit score to open $250,000 in 0% APR business credit cards under his LLC's tax ID across Chase, Amex, US Bank, and Wells Fargo Before December 31st, he swiped all $250,000 of the bank's 0% money on a $95k Escalade (over 6,000 lbs so Section 179 writes off 100% of it on day one), rehab materials for his rentals, and prepaid vendor invoices Stacked with bonus depreciation on his rentals, those credit card swipes legally dropped his personal Adjusted Gross Income all the way down to $21,400. With three kids on his return, the IRS computer automatically mailed him the $7,430 Earned Income Tax Credit And because EIN business cards only report to commercial bureaus, none of that $250k balance ever showed up on his personal credit report. He paid the cards off a year later from rental cash flow before Chase charged him a dime of interest Problem is when most guys with a 700+ score try to apply for $250k in business credit on their own, they apply in the wrong order, rack up 5 hard pulls on Experian, and get capped at $10k (if you have a 700+ credit score and want my team to sequence and unlock your 150k-250k 0% funding stack under an EIN, book a call using the link in my bio)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Rev. Rul. 78-38 only covers charitable contributions by credit card, not business expenses or vehicles. andrewmitchel.com/charts/rr_78_3… Credit card charges are deductible when incurred under standard cash method rules, not via any unique glitch, and the IRS auditor anecdote has no corroboration. irs.gov/publications/p… fitsmallbusiness.com/tax-deduction-…
