🔴Disclaimer: Part of the language used in this video clip is foul, vulgar and obscene, but the issues are important A United States-based Swati national Mandla Nkosi (Dlamini) - who describes himself as a cousin of Zulu King MisuZulu, saying he lived with him in Eswatini and in New York, although he always attacks him - says South Africa has badly damaged itself by allowing vigilante criminal hate groups like March and March to incite violent attacks and killings of black African migrants with impunity under the pretext of fighting illegal immigrants.

The script playing out across South Africa did not appear by chance. It follows a highly specific sequence of international pressures, Triggered whenever the state acts against Western geopolitical interests. The domestic unrest we see today cannot be uncoupled from this timeline. It began clearly with the Lady R controversy late in 2022. The United States accused South Africa of shipping weapons to Russia from Simon's Town, Directly threatening economic penalties and trade exclusion. This was the opening salvo in a campaign to demand absolute alignment. The diplomatic pressure intensified throughout 2023. South Africa held joint naval exercises with Russia and China despite Western warnings, Followed by the complex friction of hosting the BRICS summit, Where the state refused to enforce Western demands regarding the ICC warrant for Vladimir Putin. Instead, The bloc expanded its footprint, Challenging global financial structures. Parallel to these events, The domestic narrative was shifting. Right-wing lobbying groups heavily promoted the narrative of "White genocide" abroad, Attempting to force foreign scrutiny and isolate the South African state. When that narrative failed to gain the desired traction, Attention increasingly shifted toward a new internal friction. The turning point was early 2024, When South Africa brought Israel to the ICJ. By filing a formal case of genocide, The country disrupted the foreign policy framework of the Global North, Inflicting a deep, public diplomatic humiliation on long-standing international systems. A sovereign African nation asserting such legal authority inevitably invites structural retaliation. Now we face today's (June 30) national protests and immigration shutdowns. The strategy relies on taking the very real, structural poverty left by Apartheid, And steering the frustration of disenfranchised citizens toward foreign nationals. If domestic chaos erupts, The actors behind this pressure achieve their goal without direct intervention. We should ask why the anger is rarely directed upward, Toward those who control wealth, Toward those who benefit from economic exclusion, Toward the structures that continue to reproduce poverty. History teaches us that powerful interests rarely need to manufacture grievances, They simply need to redirect them. The most effective narratives are built upon real suffering. Real unemployment. Real poverty. Real frustration. But aimed at the wrong targets. We cannot look at this destabilization without looking at who wins on the ground. Domestic entities like AfriForum and white-led political parties like the DA benefit directly from the chaos. If the state fractures under the weight of unrest, it validates their exact political narrative: That a Black-led government is inherently incapable of maintaining order or governing a nation. South Africa's immigrants affected by #Xenophobia are Black, They are African. What is being framed as a national question, Is in many ways an African question. When African migrants are attacked in South Africa, The consequences do not stop at South Africa's borders. Whether these developments are coordinated, Or merely convergent, Their cumulative effect deserves closer scrutiny. South Africans should ask harder questions about why a country challenging powerful global interests, Is suddenly portrayed as simultaneously genocidal, xenophobic, unstable, and incapable of governing itself. People should proceed with extreme caution. The resulting images will be used globally to discredit South Africa’s international standing. They will attempt to show that the nation lecturing the world at the ICJ cannot maintain internal order. It is important to look at the structural, external hands and domestic opportunists coordinating these pressures, Before the genuine grievances of Black South Africans, Are used to destroy the country from within, & Weaponised against both SA & the broader African project. #PrayforAfrica

The 2026 anti-immigration campaigns in South Africa have increasingly merged with localized ethnic mobilization, resulting in heightened intimidation and targeting of both foreign nationals and specific domestic language groups.  Vigilante factions and populist political entities are weaponizing socio-economic grievances—such as high unemployment and strained public resources—to stoke xenophobic and ethno-nationalist sentiments ahead of the upcoming local government elections.  The Convergence of Xenophobia and Ethnic Mobilization  Political Exploitation: Prominent political parties and populist factions are framing undocumented migrants as direct competitors for jobs and municipal services.  Regional and Tribal Dimensions: The mobilization has taken on distinct geographic and linguistic characteristics, particularly in epicentres like KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. Analysts point out that certain campaigns heavily mirror the regional networks and "tribal" undertones observed in previous cycles of civil unrest.  Digital Amplification: Social media networks are driving coordinate nationalist campaigns using localized hashtags like #Abahambe ("They must go"). This rhetoric blends anti-immigration activism with strict law-and-order messaging to dictate who "belongs" in specific communities.  Impact and Intimidation on Language Groups Language Profiling as a Gatekeeping Tool: Vigilante movements, such as the March and March group, have historically used language tests (such as identifying local slang or specific linguistic nuances) to identify and corner suspected "foreigners".  Targeting of Local Minorities: Because South Africa shares cross-border languages (like Tsonga, Venda, Sotho, and Tswana) with neighbouring countries, domestic minority language groups face acute profiling, harassment, and questioning regarding their citizenship status. The June 30 Deadline: Activist networks have issued an arbitrary deadline of 30 June 2026 for all undocumented individuals to leave the country. This ultimatum has significantly heightened the climate of fear, forcing local businesses to shut down and inducing voluntary repatriations by foreign nationals.  Human Rights and Community Response Civil Society Alarms: Independent monitoring bodies and organizations like Human Rights Watch (HRW) have sharply condemned the lack of decisive police intervention, warning that masking vigilantism as "community protection" actively legitimizes violence. State Action: While the government's Inter-Ministerial Committee on Migration has pledged to crack down on lawlessness, human rights groups argue that the official response remains inadequate to prevent widespread intimidation.

Our people have said we must have our own Afriforum. The reason for that is that it is clear that as an individual non-European in South Africa , you are vulnerable. Secondly collectively our interests , including property rights, rights to justice and basic services and dignity are not protected and are impossible to enfoce because of costs. Justice is not affordable. Intellectually we are not protected, most educated people are coconuts. The ideas circulated do not reflect deep independent African thought outside the norms of Western paradigms, assumptions and ambitions. The question remains, what must be done. I am not answering that here. I am confirming the validity of the cry. I have been abused myself by both the DA and the ANC and that abuse comes from the fact that the humanity of non-Europeans in RSA has not been recognised and enforced. That must be corrected.
