Iraola has reseted most of his players which I find comical.
These are the trophies his team should be fighting for. They're not catching City and Arsenal in PL and will be walloped by any serious team in Champions league.
This Liverpool team is not too good for cups, they're your only hope for not going trophyless this season

Liverpool made seven changes tonight because this wasn't as significant for them as it was a Chelsea side with no Europe, yet every fan here became more and more invested as it went on, culminating in an explosion at full-time. A great tie and night for Iraola and his team.

Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Henderson is a massive rat btw. He knew exactly what he was doing being the 5th pen taker. Wanker 🤣
The type of conspiracy theory I'm here for. Give me some more 😂

Press conference summary:
• Florian Wirtz was feeling “quite fine” and optimistic about being available against Chelsea, but Liverpool will assess him in training later. Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Muñoz are less likely to feature, although neither has been ruled out.
• There will “definitely be changes”, with Iraola checking how the players have recovered. Liverpool want to be competitive, win the game and reach the next round.
• Iraola stressed that every competition matters. He expects a difficult game against Chelsea, who are not playing in Europe and will place particular importance on the Carabao Cup.
• Rotation is sometimes forced by injuries and sometimes based on the tactical demands of a game. Iraola is pleased that players coming into the side have contributed, even when they have had limited opportunities.
• Jayden Danns is building up his minutes after setbacks disrupted his availability. He scored for the U21s at the weekend, and Iraola hopes he can keep progressing and challenge for first-team minutes.
• The schedule leaves little time to prepare, meaning much of the work has to be done through video. Liverpool will have less recovery time than Chelsea, Arsenal and Crystal Palace, but Iraola says they must adapt.
• Iraola believes controlling chances matters more than possession. He was pleased with Liverpool’s performance against Brighton, although they conceded too much territory during part of the second half. The opening 30–35 minutes are the standard he wants the team to sustain.
• Alexander Isak has the trust of everyone to score when he gets into good positions. Iraola also stresses that the striker must help the team create those chances.
• On his relationship with the supporters, Iraola says he must earn the right to belong through performances and wins. He felt the fans enjoyed the commitment shown against Brighton, from tackles and blocks to winning duels and making runs in behind.
• Chelsea’s disciplinary record will not form part of Liverpool’s team meeting or their approach to the game. 🔴
