Based on polls and the early vote, this is entirely within the realm of possibility. It’s not even outlandish at all.

I know Chaz is expecting "Hiroshima" but 2025 gov was a 9 point shift from 2024, so a hair better than that is not bad at all, basically consistent with the national polling. And this is not a persuasion calculation + election day is uncertain. Seems fine to me!
Friday was not a good day for EV for VA Democrats. The EV is still just 0.7% bluer than 2025. VA-1's EV is now 0.1% redder than 2025. Today is now or never for them. Satellite Saturday is one of the biggest days of EV. projects.statenavigate.com/i…

He's a 7th generation Texan. That's all that needs to be said. He's a native he's one of us. Like him or don't, but he's a Texan. The only real Texan running for senate in fact For clarity. The Texan in this race is the DEMOCRAT!

it’s important to support @AbdulElSayed in his fight against not only the utterly corrupt Republican establishment, but also the islamophobic, lying, “centrist” wing of the Democratic Party funded by an evil organization that doesn’t care about American lives, Jewish or otherwise

I cannot be sure Dems will be underestimated again like in 2022, but if it happens there will have been signs, just like there were in 2022. (also correction NE early vote 2024 was R+16 in the end)
Early vote in Nebraska 2024: R+23 Early vote today: R+5.4 NYT/Siena poll electorate: R+23

She is Maine's Nixon. A miserable, thin-skinned, vindictive waste. That the Senator that is actually responsive to Mainers has to let this MAGA clown take the credit from things he does or else she'll torpedo it is scandalous.
NEW: Sen. Angus King leaks to The New York Times that he hasn't spoken to Susan Collins in months and that his staff has been instructed to let Collins take credit for things that help Maine if that's what it takes to get a good policy outcome! #MEpolitics

NEWS>> Mayor Mamdani just got off the phone with President Trump and the president has agreed to grant Javits Frimpong’s mother a visa immediately.
The murder of a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, let alone from thousands of miles away. Javits Frimpong’s mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just got off the phone with President Trump and he has agreed to grant her visa immediately.  All of New York City is mourning this tragedy.

I think Troy Jackson is going to pull it off, but if he doesn't there was a lot more that could've been done. Obama could've gone there, Angus King could've endorsed him, Mills could've done more. A lot of could'ves in this race nitter.gq/nick_field90/status/21…

in some respects, its good to train the electorate to be on the lookout for these kinds of activities before 2028. we are seeing what would've happened if bernie made it out of the primary in 2016.
As the Left wins more primaries, there will be more Andrew Cuomo (third party campaigns from the center in deep-blue districts) and Haley Stevens (cynical sabotage in purple states) situations. Nor were Cuomo and Stevens alone, plenty of institutional actors in the Democratic Party enabled them.

I expected it. @MalloryMcMorrow from the beginning was a great candidate, a genuine democrat, and someone who sees the bigger picture. @HaleyforMI is a liar who fabricated my endorsement, sent her goons to threaten me and my career if I didn’t take down my post my “future in politics” would be at risk, and still has NEVER called and apologized for lying about my endorsement. I’m so sick of this. I want democrats to WIN.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect Mallory McMorrow to go so hard for Abdul after he won the primary. You don’t have to align with all of her politics to recognize her efforts over the last few months. Mallory will have a future in politics, Haley Stevens will not.

I just want to be clear the media has never done this for Republicans when they play these kind of tricks, which literally happened very recently in Florida.
CNN: Did it impact your vote at all? Alaska Voter: Not a bit. CNN: Can you tell who's who here? AV: Absolutely. You've got Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. and then you have Sullivan Dan, who's a registered Republican and incumbent. And I don't even have my glasses on. It's pretty clear it's in black and white. It's very clear.

I like that Nate Silver has gone from updating his model every two days to just mainlining data in real time. He's just as anxious as everyone else. I think that's beautiful.
