This is exactly why I refuse to dismiss AI creations as “slop.”
A self-taught working mom creates a 9-minute fantasy film and wins awards, including Best Screenplay.
Think about that for a moment.
Someone who might never have had the budget, equipment, or connections to make a film can now bring her vision to life.
AI didn’t give her the imagination, the story, or the creative vision. It gave her a way to bring them to the screen.
This is the side of AI creativity we should be talking about more.
Congratulations to the creator! 👏

Imagine the audacity of telling every kid in Uganda to ace their sciences, only for some desk-bound gatekeeper to turn around and say "actually, we're full" when they try to study pharmacy. @ReachDrMuganga is calling out this absolute madness.

Directors don't hold the camera.
Photographers don't build the lens.
Nobody calls them fake.
Art was never about who pushed the button. It's about whose vision it is.

“Where are the real artists?”
Some of them are using AI.
They’re still imagining, experimenting, creating, editing, and spending hours bringing their ideas to life.
But the moment you discover they used AI, suddenly none of that matters?
You stopped appreciating the creativity the moment you recognized the tool.
Maybe the problem isn’t the absence of real artists. Maybe it’s your definition of one.

“People who use AI are lazy.”
I’ve never found that statement more ridiculous than I do today.
I’ve seen AI creators spend hours perfecting their work. Generating, editing, correcting mistakes, experimenting with different styles, and starting over until they get exactly what they envisioned.
And then someone comes along, downloads their creation, and reposts it as their own.
Now THAT is lazy.
If someone’s work inspires you, use that inspiration to create something of your own.
AI gives you the tools to do exactly that.
The problem was never AI making people lazy. The lazy ones are those who steal others work instead of creating something themselves.
This AI creator goes viral with this absolutely beautiful video, and people think they have the right to steal it.
And the comments justifying it are disgusting.
“You don’t own it because it’s AI.”
“AI content can’t be copyrighted.”
“You didn’t even make the video.”
Since when did using AI mean someone’s time, creativity, effort, and artistic vision have no value?
You can dislike AI all you want. But that doesn’t give you the right to take someone else’s work and pass it off as your own.
And the idea that ALL AI-generated content is automatically free for anyone to use is simply false.
You don’t have to respect the tool. But you should respect the person behind it.
How did we get to a point where stealing someone’s creative work is celebrated simply because AI was involved?

You are a writer if you use AI to write your thoughts.
You are an artist if you use AI to bring your imagination to life.
You are a filmmaker if you use AI to tell your stories.
You are a musician if you use AI to turn your melodies into songs.
You are a developer if you use AI to build your apps.
You are a designer if you use AI to turn your ideas into visuals.
You are a photographer if you use AI to enhance your photography.
You are a creator if you use AI to create something that didn’t exist before.
Using AI doesn’t erase your creativity. It gives you another way to express it.

We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again.
Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both
Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard.
It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min.
Pre-orders are now live at:

It cost $28,775 to make.
To date, Nexus episodes have 62,479,089 views.
This one is about a guy with zero brain cells who rides a dinosaur that shoots exploding pimples.

This is a good point to ban the veiling.
