Trump didn’t fire Kristi Noem because she failed to respond to the floods in Texas which claimed the lives of at least 100 people.
He didn’t fire her because Americans were murdered by her rabid masked goons.
He didn’t fire her for posing for photos in front of human beings in cages like they were livestock.
He didn’t fire her for racially profiling Latinos, African-Americans, Arab Americans and Asian Americans.
He didn’t fire her because she was arresting legal permanent residents and US citizens and detaining them illegally.
He didn’t fire her because she was keeping children in fetid, rancid concentration camps without access to clean water, fresh food or medical care.
He didn’t fire her for turning our cities into militarized war zones.
He fired her because she made him “look bad.”
That was the red line.
None of the other things were.

A lot of people keep arguing that they don't care about the tariffs because they "buy American."
Let's say Bob sells Gizmos at $100, but China sells them at $90. Bob can't go any lower, and he's barely turning a profit. He's making $5 a Gizmo.
The US slaps a 30% tariff on Gizmos or China, and so China's prices go up $27 and now those are $117.
Do you think Bob is going to keep his domestic price at $100 and continue to live off white bread and generic bologna or do you think he's going to jack his prices up to $115, quadrupling his profit and upgrading to the good lunchmeat?
This is what tariffs are designed to do. Give domestic manufactures a chance to raise their prices and incentivize them. It's not just imports that are going to up in prices.
It's everything.
