Connor Hellebuyck’s start in New Jersey hasn’t been perfect, but the advanced numbers tell a promising story. Devils fans shouldn’t be hitting the panic button just yet. Check out my latest for @pitchforkedpuck ! pucksandpitchforks.com/conno…
Why Devils Fans should not be worried about Connor Hellebuyck’s patchy start

I know I've talked about it quite a bit recently. But I gotta be honest I am genuinely so fucking sick of seeing AI slop. It's fucking EVERYWHERE. I'm sick of hearing AI voices, AI food, AI ads, AI fonts, AI summaries, AI accounts. It's so intrusive and repetitive.

I bring a "genAI is bad and I judge you for using it for everything" vibe to the table that people really don't appreciate.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Digital purchases are licenses, not ownership. Sony can revoke access. This raises concerns about long-term ownership, game preservation, resale, lending, and reliance on servers/stores “The Software is licensed to you, not sold...” → playstation.com/en-us/legal/so…

People are finding out the hard way that buying digital isn't buying, it's renting. Every disc, tape, and cartridge I own still works. No matter how many licenses expire, no corporation can reach into my house and take it back. That's the entire argument for physical media, sitting right there in that email.

Can we talk about how this kind of rapid-fire pacing is scientifically proven to be really bad for kids’ brain development and to shorten their attention spans? The fact that they know this and still do it is beyond me
