Quote of the season? 😂
‘We swam our way into the next round’ - manager feared stormy Scottish Cup clash would be abandoned northern-scot.co.uk/sport/we…
This is not a hard question @RobertJenrick
If @ReformUKScot and leading figures like @Malcolm_Offord and @ThomasKerrMSP had any decency, they will call it out for what it is, racism
I do not share the politics of @KemiBadenoch. But we must stand together against such hatred
‘Is calling Kemi Badenoch a “Nigerian scammer” racist, yes or no?’
‘…I’m not on your show to talk about what a journalist has tweeted.’
Reform's Robert Jenrick refuses to engage with @Lewis_Goodall's question about Raheem Kassam's comments on the Tory leader.

Robert Jenrick is pathetic.
It’s not that difficult to see, nor say, that these comments about Kemi are racist.
What a coward.

It's unacceptable that patients are stuck in waiting rooms for hours on end.
Too many beds are occupied by people who can’t get the care package they need to return home. We need to fix the underlying problems in social care, letting people leave hospital with the care they need.
I'm having a lot of fun getting back into rugby, not at my best yet though! 😂🏉
Sports clubs are about so much more than matchdays. They build friendships, create a sense of belonging and support our physical and mental health.
Support your local clubs! 🏉⚽️🏑🎾🏒

I'm not done fighting ✊
Power should belong in the hands of local people
Any changes to local government must not mean more centralisation or taking power away from our communities
This isn't an argument against change. It's an argument for getting it right
The central belt of Scotland isn't it either @andyburnham... You've been listening to the @theSNP too much

I'm not done yet.
Pleasure as always to speak at the @scotlibdems conference, this time on why we most protect local powers and health services against any centralisation by the Scottish Government
Power belongs in the hands of the people. And I will keep fighting ✊

So Kemi Badenoch wants to pay for new prison cells by cutting £1bn from culture, media and sport?
That means youth clubs, leisure centres, sports pitches, arts projects and music venues, places that give young people somewhere to go and learn teamwork and self discipline, all of that: gone.
That’s not tough on crime, that’s building a pipeline into the very prisons you're promising! And this from a party that added fewer than 500 prison places in a decade, and left communities like mine fighting to keep leisure centres open in the first place.
Disgraceful.
Great fun today at the IAM Gaming Expo, hosted by the Indie Game Squad and @UHIMoray 🎮
The Indie game scene in Scotland is vital to the industry, and that's no different in Elgin!
If you didn't think I was big headed enough, I even got drawn as a planet 🪐
What a result! 🔶
A fantastic win in the Highlands for our new councillor, Julie Calder!
Another strong community champion for Wick and East Caithness, following in the footsteps of the legend Cllr Jan McEwan
On top of that, a +50% win in the SNP council leader's backyard 👀

🚨 Lib Dem GAIN Wick and East Caithness
Congratulations to our newest councillor Julie Calder!
A stonking victory in the SNP council leader's own ward🔶
Pretty hard when colleges and universities are cutting student places up north due to their lack of funding support... @AlynSmith
Tertiary education minister Alyn Smith: 'Colleges can innovate their way out of funding crisis' trib.al/cwumOFt
Someone who made a lot of time for me, particularly after the narrow miss - @cajardineMP will be a huge loss to parliament
I will be forever grateful for the time, care, and kindness Christine showed me
I'm sure whatever she puts her mind to next, it will be a massive success
I’ve taken the decision not to stand as Lib Dem candidate in Edinburgh West at the next GE. It has been a fantastic decade. I want to thank @EdwardJDavey for all his support over the years. I’m confident our next chapter will be even more successful and I’m sad I won’t be there.
Proud that a policy I originally proposed at @scotlibdems conference last year has become @scotgov policy
It includes establishing regional gaming hubs and a National Games Innovation Centre to support start-ups and share expertise across the sector
scottishgames.net/2026/09/25…
In particular, I want to thank my friend and colleague @DavidGreen4CSR for putting forward the amendment
I am also grateful for the wisdom and expertise of industry experts for their input into forming our policy
The games industry needs support, and this is a big step forward

My nephew has been waiting for a CAMHS assessment for six years. He has not attended school since the pandemic, he hasn’t been seen by anyone outside of his home in five years. He has been failed by every single state body from the school, the NHS, Glasgow City Council and SG.
Read verbatim from the piece of paper in front of him. He doesn’t even care enough to grasp what he’s talking about.
Your own evidence already shows legislation is needed. You’re ignoring it.
Neurodivergent people deserve so much better than this. @JohnSwinney
