This brief sequence captures some issues Nets fans have had with Julius Randle so far:
1) Even if Randle dosnt TO the 🏀, he's dribbling into a double team as Robinson shaded over to meet him.
2) After the TO he dosnt hustle back, and just misses breaking up the pass to Reed.

"I know the group can do better because I've seen it."
The Nets looked like they'd finally turned a corner... for a quarter. Then the familiar collapse hit.
Brooklyn blew an early 10-point lead as Detroit's defense exposed every lingering offensive flaw in a 110-94 NBA Cup loss.

“I need Mo to keep them alive.”
The young Nets talk plenty on the bus. Jordi Fernández wants to hear them on defense, and he’s counting on Moritz Wagner to get the conversation going.

Nets should continue celebrating their history by bringing out the Brooklyn Knight out tonight for Halloween. That'd really scare the crowd

Brooklyn Nets guard Egor Dëmin has been diagnosed with a right leg bone bruise and will be re-evaluated in one week.

Egor Dëmin doesn’t expect the right-leg injury that knocked him out of Tuesday’s game against the Boston Celtics to keep him sidelined for long.

Last year the Nets had a bottom
of the league defense and it’s very possible it’s worse this year.
Still extremely early though.
One of the big standouts so far this season for me has been how rough the Nets' off-ball defense has been. Simple actions like double drags, Spain PNRs, horn sets, etc. cause them way too much confusion. There's a shocking lack of communication, effort, and understanding of assignments from the guys on the court.

Mikel Brown Jr. went from struggling early to nearly saving the Nets’ night, only to watch it unravel in the final seconds against Boston.
But his breakthrough left something worth remembering beyond the heartbreak.

You was probably hoping the nets lost to find a reason to talk like this because they didn’t draft someone who you liked. I know what sleeps in my house, this will light a fire of kel. We “The Brown Family” BELIEVE in coach Jordi and the Nets front office.
Boy that's a rough loss for Brooklyn. So many chances to put Boston away in overtime. One bad decision after another by Mikel Brown, but hard to blame a rookie guard in his third game and not the third-year head coach Jordi Fernández for better preparing his team for a moment like that. Keeping Brown in the game for a defense-only possession says it all to me about how ill-prepared Fernandez was. And the Nets remain winless.
