If Duck goes all goes next? …I’ve been through this in California…..just lets concentrate on things that matter…..cars with children are being shot by ICE, immigrants working in farms and restaurants being deported many with green cards and even citizens…so many other issues! A man has died after two e-scooters collided near the Eastern Market metro station earlier this evening, D.C. police tell me.
It’s the 2nd time in a month in D.C. that an e-scooter/bike rider has died in a crash.
MPD Major Crash Unit is on scene. No word yet on 2nd rider.

NEW: The 6-year-old boy who nearly drowned at a D.C. soccer camp last week is no longer intubated or sedated, his family's attorney tells @CityCast_DC.
Adonis Jackson was found at the bottom of a University of D.C. pool while a lifeguard was on lunch break. Multiple university officials have been placed on leave in connection with the incident.
He remains in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. His family is asking supporters to send audio messages of "words of encouragement, a favorite memory, a song, or simply a familiar voice saying his name" to [email protected]

The hardest hours in that room are the quiet ones, after visitors have gone and the monitors are the only sound, when the night terrors come.... no child should have to lie awake in an intensive care unit wondering whether anyone is out there.
