Is there anything I am allowed to do about beliefs that are harmful to me ?
WOW 🚨 Police and councils across the UK have issued "no trick or treat" posters warning that Halloween can upset religious or cultural beliefs They’re also advising residents Halloween decorations can be harmful to those with different religious beliefs such as Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses and more Leicestershire Police advised that some residents may skip Halloween because they are “observing religious or cultural beliefs that do not include Hallowe’en.” They also suggested avoiding houses that display the posters and homes with no decorations and pumpkins. Swale Borough Council with Kent Police referenced households that may not take part for “religious reasons,” plus vulnerability or low income Buckinghamshire Council noted some people may not want to be disturbed because they are “fighting demons of their own. The Metropolitan Police and other forces described Halloween as potentially a “stressful” or “fearful” time for some people. Multiple forces and councils provided printable “No Trick or Treat” posters for any household that doesn’t want visitors. Some also advised limiting egg and flour sales to reduce “tricks”

Australia just pushed its online “duty of care” censorship bill through the House. Platforms now have to keep under-16s away from likes, stories and endless feeds, and keep kids away from anything that “simulates emotional intimacy.” Funny how the only way to do that is to check the age of every adult in the country too. Albanese says it’ll be copied worldwide. It's already happening. reclaimthenet.org/australias…

🚨 PARIS: There's a soldier with a RIFLE at the gates of Sacré-Cœur on Halloween night, and riot police are holding back a crowd on the steps below. This is what France has come to. France's own Interior Minister just ordered extra security at churches and Christian cemeteries for All Saints' Day. His reason is that France logged 843 ANTI-CHRISTIAN ACTS last year, up 9 percent, and this year is running even higher. Paris used to be a city where you could go to church in peace. Now it needs troops at the door. The war on Christianity is real.

I was put under surveillance for defending SCIENCE. When I was 19 yrs old, I called out climate alarmism: They claim that “feedback effects” amplify the greenhouse effect from CO2 emissions - but these have never been proven! “Climate science” is nothing but a computer model. A THEORY, disproven by real data! Now we pay enormous “carbon taxes” in Germany that destroy our economy. We @Deu_Kurier demand the abolition of climate taxes!

What is happening right now at Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal is, in my view, nothing less than a COUP D’ÉTAT! Donald Tusk is doing everything in his power to illegally seize control of yet another public institution, acting outside the law and trampling on Poland’s constitutional order. His ultimate goal is to establish the supremacy of EU law over Polish law, force through the EU Migration Pact, and flood Poland with tens of thousands, potentially hundreds of thousands, of illegal migrants. He wants Poland to stop being an island of safety, stability and prosperity in Europe. He wants our country to suffer the same economic destruction, social chaos and devastation that we are witnessing in other parts of Europe. Donald Tusk is acting exclusively in Germany’s interests - NOT in the interests of the Polish people. Poland is a sovereign nation. We will not surrender our independence, our security or our future! Listen to what @D_Tarczynski has to say!

In historical terms this is governing elites threatened by the spread of literacy across the masses. This occurred during 16-19th Centuries. The Internet has provided these "elites" a new challenge to controlling information. Censorship is a very blunt weapon. It's not working well for them. The American First Amendment is a rare and unique legislative restraint on government over-reach. It needs to be further strengthened for the global public square. @elonmusk
For context, a Russian dissident criticizing the Putin regime anonymously from the UK now risks persecution and death if Russia or North Korea manages to get hold of social media firms’ doxing databases. Which they will. Huge infringement on freedom of speech.

🚨BREAKING: All Britons may need ID to use social media, the UK's online safety regulator today announces “This plan for a government ‘social media ban’ is a national ID system by the back door. Both the government and Ofcom have admitted that children will get around the ban, which means the real effect will be normalising adults and children alike to hand over their passports just to get online. Hundreds of thousands of people without ID, who tend to be poorer people, and many more who don’t want to risk handing their passports over to foreign tech companies will be locked out of huge parts of the internet. The plan will kill anonymity online, whilst the UK’s culture of speech policing is reaching a crisis point. The policy is painfully misguided, an Orwellian assault on free speech and privacy, and will make children no safer at all. The false illusion that children aren’t on social media will cause the companies to abandon all their child safety measures. The Government could be promoting meaningful safety measures and supporting parental controls that genuinely protect children - instead, they’re demanding government ID from the whole population just for uncensored internet access. It is authoritarian madness.” - Silkie Carlo | @silkiecarlo Read ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

To everyone who has stood with me since the censorship bloodbath of 2021: thank you. That year, I lost access to an audience of more than 2 million followers across platforms, almost overnight. A UK-based organization, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), helped orchestrate a campaign branding Americans—including @SecKennedy and me—as dangerous purveyors of “misinformation.” The Biden White House amplified that narrative, turning a foreign NGO's accusations into a justification for suppressing American speech. But censorship did not have the last word. In 2025, my remaining X account had just 13,000 followers. Today, we've crossed 100,000. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who helped make that possible, and to @elonmusk for restoring space for voices that others sought to silence. Special thanks to @VigilantFox But this milestone represents something much bigger than a follower count. The First Amendment isn't a privilege granted to those who agree with the government. It's a constitutional barrier against government interference with our freedom to speak, question, dissent, and seek the truth. That's why I'm asking you to join Restore the 1st, a growing coalition of more than 20 organizations committed to defending free expression against both domestic and foreign censorship pressures. restorethe1st.com/coalition.… @restorethe1st To everyone who refused to be intimidated, silenced, or divided: thank you. They tried to make our voices disappear. Instead, we're building a movement to ensure that no American's voice can be erased so easily again.

🚨 Breaking: After a three year battle, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust has finally changed its policy on single-sex spaces for staff to bring it in line with the law. It is amazing how simple it is! Now all NHS Trusts must urgently follow suit. Bethany Hutchison, President of the Darlington Nursing Union and lead claimant in the case, said: “This short sentence in a policy has taken women three years of fear, humiliation and extraordinary personal sacrifice to secure. “We were nurses asking for the most basic protection: somewhere private and safe to undress at work, away from members of the opposite sex. Instead of listening, the Trust told us to compromise, broaden our mindset and be more inclusive. We were forced out of our own changing room, placed in inadequate facilities, threatened with disciplinary action and made to fear for our jobs and professional careers. “Vulnerable colleagues were put under intolerable pressure. International nurses feared losing their visas. Women who had experienced domestic abuse were left distressed and afraid. Four of us were reported to our professional regulator simply for speaking publicly about what was happening. “Throughout it all, the Trust defended a policy it had been warned was unlawful. Even after the Supreme Court clarified the law, it refused to change course. It took a full tribunal judgment, an apology, damages and an enormous bill before the Trust finally wrote biological reality into its policy. “We welcome this change because it will protect women across the Trust, but it should never have required a three-year legal battle. No nurse should ever again be treated as we were for asking for dignity, privacy and safety.” See more breaking in the Daily Express and with @CConcern and the Christian Legal Centre who have supported the nurses from the beginning. express.co.uk/news/uk/226004… christianconcern.com/ccpress…

The GRANITE Act fixes an unfixed structural flaw in American law, brought about by the advent of the Internet: Foreign countries are claiming to have jurisdiction over the United States, while also claiming to be immune from the jurisdiction of the United States.
Ofcom's position, roughly: UK law applies on American soil, and American courts have no jurisdiction to hold Ofcom accountable for it. Both at once. And under current US law, that holds up. Full conversation in the thread 👇

Flávio Bolsonaro’s Statement in English on His Stolen Presidential Victory I address the Brazilian people and the international community as Brazil’s leader. First and foremost, I would like to thank President Milei for his courage, sense of justice, and respect for the law, and President Trump and the wonderful American people for welcoming me. This is a land of freedoms and of brothers and sisters who share the same values as the good people of my country. President Trump is a great defender of freedom of expression. On Sunday night, I watched in disbelief as electoral fraud unfolded before my eyes. The illegitimate and illegal actions of Lula’s former lawyer allowed a mathematical impossibility to become reality, with Lula gaining more than 10 million votes between the first and second rounds. A ruling by the Federal Supreme Court (STF), overriding the jurisdiction of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), extended voting at the very last moment, and the order only arrived after the legal closing time, when the polls had already closed. Voters were subjected to different rules. So far, the TSE has confined itself to defending the extension of voting hours, without providing even a single credible answer. And these grounds for invalidation are not the only problem. Throughout the campaign, there was abuse of political and economic power, as well as the use of government resources to favor reelection. These are serious acts, expressly prohibited by law, that justify disqualifying the Lula–Alckmin ticket. The regime’s response to my challenge came swiftly. As though following a previously devised plan, seven minutes after this repugnant electoral fraud, the judge—who is implicated in a massive corruption scandal, directly named in the investigation he used to try to confiscate my passports, and who would very likely be in prison had they not prevented me from taking office—set the regime’s machinery of political persecution in motion. Given that he was legally barred from the outset and entirely lacking in impartiality to initiate any judicial proceedings against me, his mere participation in procedural acts demonstrates the scale of the arbitrariness and illegality now underway. It was not my intention to leave my homeland, but I know exactly where this is heading. This is the classic playbook of any coup d’état. The political persecution that began with my father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, and spread to thousands of other ordinary, patriotic Brazilians and even American citizens has a single objective: to silence anyone who disagrees with the authoritarian regime established in Brazil through a Supreme Court captured by the Workers’ Party’s criminal organization. To be clear, there is no arrest warrant against me, because I have committed no crime. What exists is a politically motivated witch hunt intended to hold me hostage and use me as a tool of blackmail to protect corrupt Supreme Court justices from impeachment. Here is the persecution’s script: passport confiscation, an electronic ankle monitor, censorship, house arrest, a sham trial, and, finally, a politically motivated conviction. I will not subject my family to this, and my country does not deserve to endure this international disgrace again. Faced with the political weaponization of Brazil’s justice system, I brought my family to the United States, where we are safe. Once again, I thank President Trump and the American government for welcoming us and providing the legal protections we no longer have in Brazil. I want to make this clear: I did not flee Brazil; I left for Brazil’s sake. I left an authoritarian regime so that I could be the leader my people deserve, because silenced, imprisoned, and censored, as my father is, I could not provide that leadership, and we would be left with the institutional theater of an emasculated opposition controlled by a Supreme Court filled with the regime’s servants. I am not the first person who has had to fight for his own country from abroad. Rui Barbosa went into exile for confronting Floriano Peixoto’s arbitrary rule, and from there continued defending the law and freedom. Charles de Gaulle led Free France from London, sentenced to death by the Vichy regime, and returned to liberate his country. José Martí organized the struggle for Cuban independence from New York. In Venezuela, Juan Guaidó and Edmundo González had to leave the country for confronting the Chavista dictatorship, and María Corina Machado, despite being persecuted, refused to legitimize the fraud and became a global symbol of democratic resistance. All of them were treated as criminals by the regimes they confronted. History called them something else. This is only the beginning of our struggle for democracy, human rights, and freedom in Brazil. I want to tell not only my 60 million voters, but the Brazilian people, that I am the leader, and that the criminals who stole Brazil’s election are part of a criminal organization that has imposed a tyranny. You wanted change, and I will not abandon you. I will be our nation’s voice and its free leadership. To Brazil’s institutions, I make this appeal: this madness must end. Brazil today is engulfed in legal chaos, corruption, and political persecution, in which the opposition is afraid to speak and a former president’s family is treated as an enemy of the state. No nation can live in peace or prosper this way. There is still time to restore the balance among the branches of government and give Brazilians back the confidence they have lost. To the international community, I ask: do not normalize what is happening in Brazil. What is happening in my country today is not normal and cannot be treated as normal. To the senators, representatives, and governors whom I helped elect, and especially to my candidate for president of the Senate, Rogério Marinho: I know that today you lack the freedom necessary to carry out your political duties fully. Therefore, I will lead the opposition from here. I will say what you cannot say there, and I will take the risks you cannot take. And to you, who voted for me and dream of change: we are not defeated, and we are not alone. This is only the beginning of our struggle for democracy, human rights, and freedom in Brazil. In the coming days, I will address the Brazilian people regularly, and we will present a strategy to mobilize the opposition and the immense popular support we have, through every peaceful and legitimate means, to prevent Lula from consolidating a dictatorial regime in Brazil. I ask each of you to stand firm and never give up. I left Brazil, but I have not abandoned the Brazilian people. This struggle did not end on October 25. It will end only when Brazil becomes a free country again. And that day will come. May God bless Brazil. Flávio Bolsonaro

🚨 WOW! President Trump personally APPROVED granting Flavio Bolsonaro entry into the United States before Brazil's regime could seize his passport, per CNN, citing a Trump adviser And now we know MARCO RUBIO is granting him, and his family, visas Trump and Marco knew ALL ALONG this is likely what Lula's flunkies would do! As soon as Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes gave Bolsonaro 24 hours to surrender his passports on Monday, Trump officials stepped in and made clear to Bolsonaro that America would welcome him in 🙏🏻 "The State Department will issue visas to Flávio Bolsonaro and his family and allow them entry into the United States." Trump just prevented a severe political persecution. HE KNOWS HOW IT FEELS.
