“The French Intifada” has spread to Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany.
What follows is speculative. I readily admit that. But it is also grounded in facts. So let us discuss it on those terms.
1. I suspect that someone – we do not know who – is pulling the strings from outside. This possibility has already been raised in discussions about what is happening in France. And the way the riots are spreading only strengthens that suspicion.
2. In every country where the riots are taking place, I suspect that the country’s own Islamo-leftist forces are involved. Nora Bussigny has examined these connections in France in an article for The Free Press. Similar alliances are presumably emerging in the other countries.
So far, the Islamo-leftist wing of the Left has had the audacity to dismiss the very suggestion that it exists as a conspiracy theory. Jean-Luc Mélenchon openly describes Muslims as his allies (and, incidentally, celebrates the “creolisation” of France). This does not amount to “Islamo-leftism” under a strict definition of the term.
But now that it has emerged that Elif Eralp, one of Die Linke’s parliamentary group leaders in Berlin, fears Hamas sympathisers with links to parts of her own party, the accusation of “conspiracy theory” ought to fall silent.
This is why claims along the lines of “We know LFI is involved, but we do not know whether any Islamists are involved” or “We know Die Linke is involved, but we do not know whether any Islamists are involved” are simply not good enough. If LFI or Die Linke are involved, both the available evidence and common sense suggest that their connections to Islamist circles should also be investigated.
3. The riots are a kind of activist motte-and-bailey.
The motte is: “The cost of living is too high” or “We want extra maths lessons to make up for those we have missed.”
The bailey is: “We want a new society. And that is why we are smashing the old one to pieces.”
4. Given the sheer number of eyewitness accounts, photographs and arrests, the persistent doubts and qualifications about who is taking part often border on the absurd.
Among the participants are:
- Radicalised middle-class youngsters, as documented in France.
- Islamists from Islamo-leftist circles, according to Bussigny’s account of events in France.
- Casseurs – violent troublemakers who, according to the authorities in Frankfurt, are predominantly from immigrant backgrounds. In other words, people who behave as though they simply hate the country they live in and want to destroy as much of it as they possibly can.
5. What all these radicalised participants – and any outside forces that may be pulling the strings – have in common, in my assessment, is a desire to destabilise the countries in which they operate.
6. After the riots of 1968, the silent majority in the US elected Richard Nixon.
After the riots of 2026, the European silent majority will respond in a similar fashion.

The UN and the NGO circus spent 13 years and billions in Haiti, imported cholera that killed nearly 10,000 people, built a handful of houses with half a billion in Red Cross cash, and left the gangs in charge. Then Bukele shows up with a prison and a plan and the murder rate in El Salvador collapses from world-record territory (106 per 100k) to under 2—and in 2026 it’s tracking around 1. Streets that used to be kill zones are now tourist spots. Four million visitors, billions in tourism revenue, and approval ratings that would make a dictator blush.
The difference is simple: the aid industry gets paid to manage the problem. Bukele gets paid (politically) to end it. One side needs 300-page reports and per diems in Geneva. The other side needs handcuffs and a really big jail.
So when he ships ~2,000 of his guys to Haiti after his people get grabbed, the permanent crisis professionals suddenly discover deep concerns about “due process” and “escalation.” Funny how the people who spent decades failing never had those concerns while the body count kept climbing.
If he actually makes a dent, the indictment writes itself: the problem was never too hard. It was too profitable.

If 12 million slaves left Africa, it means black African slave traders made a huge business capturing and selling off 12 million of their kins to their white business counterparts.
I think the ease with which we solely focus on the West on matters of slavery is because they have built nations out of all kinds of transaction they made with the outside world, which isn’t a crime because we happen to all envy their states.
It is bad/good that we see it as a divine intervention when one of us “finally” lands a US visa, for instance. This is obvious in NOT just the testimony given in church on Sunday, but the “Hallelujah” chant that follows from the congregation.
To ponder 🤔:
- what stopped the African slave trader from using the African slaves he captured for commercial agriculture on our fertile soil?
- what stopped the black African from building ships and daring into other continents as well?
- if the West, lacking the resources that are naturally abundant on the African soil, have devised ways of exploiting our resources to build states that attracts everyone from elsewhere, why are Africa, naturally abundant with the human and mineral resources lagging behind.
There was an evil trade in the souls of men.
One group (slave consumer) saw an opportunity in sailing the “merchandise” across the Great Pond to build nations.
The other group (slave supplier) was contented with exchanging millions of its kins for Dane guns, wine, metal spoons and stools.
Assuming we all are descendants of those merchants, on what ground does one group demand compensation from the other?
Other countries - China, Japan, India - have had very long painful histories with the Western world, but have moved on to develop in their way and are currently competing on the international stage.
There has to come a time when we look forward to what we can do as Black Africa.
That time was yesterday.
We are already behind schedule⏰
Kemi, congratulations on leading a major British party as a Black Woman. It takes real talent to rise to where you are and deceit is what it takes to rise as a Black leader in a western Conservative Party.
It is a pity the climb did not leave room for a history book and since you chose to argue in the language of history, let us do the history. Let’s dissect your verbal diarrhea point by point.
Everyone participated." Slavery existed on every continent. So did war, and nobody calls a village feud the World War. The transatlantic trade ran for 366 years (1501 to 1866) and put about 12.5 million Africans on ships, of whom about 1.8 million died before they saw the Americas, according to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database. It ran through joint-stock companies, chartered monopolies, Lloyd's underwriters and acts of Parliament. It was hereditary, because the law made the child of an enslaved mother property from birth. It was racial, because a whole continent was defined as chattel. No other system in history combined those features at that scale. Dissolving all of it into "people from every continent" is far worse than intellectual dishonesty.
Britain was a market leader, not a participant. British ships carried about 3.2 million Africans, second only to Portugal and Brazil. The Treaty of Utrecht (1713) gave Britain the asiento, a thirty-year monopoly to supply 4,800 enslaved Africans a year to Spanish America. The Royal African Company, chartered in 1672 and headed by the Duke of York, later James II, branded its captives "DY". During Edward Colston's years in its leadership it shipped about 84,000 people, and roughly 19,000 died on the way.
You say British taxpayers should not answer for what happened before they were born. They did. In 1833 Britain borrowed £20 million to compensate slaveholders, and taxpayers serviced that loan until 2015, including the descendants of the enslaved. So the principle you invoke was not applied when the cheque went to slaveholders. It only appears when the cheque changes direction.
"Navel-gazing" is a curious charge from someone whose party spends more energy on the past (Empire nostalgia, culture war crusades) than most of those you accuse. Defend Britain if you must. But do not use your Nigerian name as the permission slip for arguments Nigerians know better than anyone.

Slavery reparations take:
1. A tiny number of white people did this.
2. Black and brown people also did it.
3. All those responsible are dead.
3. Most white people had terrible lives.
5. A lot of people died for the freedom, safety and rights you have.
Look forward.

No. The transatlantic slave trade was a profound evil involving European buyers, African sellers and Arab traders. Britain carried about 3 million of the 12.5 million embarked, then abolished the trade in 1807 and slavery in 1833. It compensated owners, then spent decades and huge sums running the West Africa Squadron to suppress the trade globally. Modern taxpayers share no personal guilt. Paying African governments today is neither practical nor just given Africa’s own extensive history of slavery.
Okay let's do the Atlantic slave trade
We've already said slavery was appalling and expressed sorrow over it multiple times
- Blair
- Cameron
- Monarchy
The slaves were sold by African tribes and chieftains
Slavery is not unique to Britain or any other Western state
It is in actual fact the oldest and longest surviving socio-economic system in the world
Slavery is alive and well today though you'd not know that from this campaign
It's noticeable and telling that no one is discussing Arab slaving which impacted Africa and Europe
The people in the Caribbean today have a higher standard of living than most people in the places in African the slaves were taken from
This is definitely true in American and it's also true in Brazil where many of them were also taken
No one is alive who profited from or were hurt by the Atlantic slave trade
Furthermore Britain spent time, money and lives stamping out the practice
This is a first time this has happened in human history
This country doesn't owe anyone a penny and I'm bored of the demands for apologies
Get over it or get fucked
I'm beyond caring which

I don’t blame current German citizens for the Holocaust even though it’s still in living memory
So don’t hold me responsible as a white British citizen for the slave trade over 200 years after this country banned it.
Same Home Office report the Mayor is quoting: anti-Christian hate crime up 24%.
Where police recorded the victim's ethnicity, 29% of racially or religiously aggravated victims were White.
Report all of it, not just the bits that fit the month.

We should stop all this demand for reparations. If anything, we as Africans should be even more ashamed of our role in the slave trade.
The reason this is even a discussion is because you have Whites who can be guilt tripped to dole out cash to the thieving and corrupt ruiners we call leaders.
Nobody asks the Arab world for apology and reparations even though the did worse. But then again we should be ashamed it was Africans who killed, captured, and sold excess slaves off to both the Arabs and the West.
When Britain wanted to end slavery, the likes of King Jaja of Opobo and the rest opposed it and continued selling to other willing buyers.
Again, we should be ashamed as well and do soul searching. Not start looking to guilt trip the west to request for additional blood money for the thieving elite to steal.

Might be useful to someone so quote tweeting
1. The original payment to the slave holders was something like £20m made up of £15m paid by a bond and £5m in government stocks. The most important point about the bond was that it did NOT have to be repaid. Govt could be paying interest on it forever or until whenever it decided to repay the £15m principal. The slave holders got their cash and by 1844 practically all of them had sold the stocks and moved on.
2. Because the U.K. govt issues a lot of gilts, they regularly have to do housecleaning exercises to tidy up the gilt book. In 1927, they did one where that bond for slave holders (whatever was left of it) was consolidated with several other bonds including ones that were used to fund wars with Napoleon. This single consolidated bond paid 4% and again - IT DID NOT NEED TO BE REPAID. You could collect the 4% coupon in theory forever until the govt decided to redeem the principal.
3. In 2015 there was another housecleaning exercise and this time, because interest rates were lower than 4% (the good old days), the govt decided to pay off those forever bonds where it was paying 4%. This simple logical financing decision to save some coins is what gave birth to this meme that “UK taxpayers were still paying for slavery until 2015”.
Assuming the whole £15m was even still outstanding, imagine saying the U.K. govt which spent almost £800bn in 2015 waited until 2015 to pay £15m, something that amounts to around 10mins of govt spending. The entire story is down to the type of bond that was issued and the fact that they did not need to be repaid. That’s it

To be a celebrated African INTELLECTUAL, do you:
-develop a new scientific theory. Nope.
- invent groundbreaking technology. Nope.
- whine about colonialism with eloquent English. YES.
We have turned the African voice into a perpetual whine fest. This is why no one respects us around the world. Everyone else got occupied, colonised, invaded, pillaged. Often worse than what Africa went through, and even longer. Those countries have surpassed us, some even surpassing their former colonisers in GDP per capita. Still, all we do is whine.
Can we please stop?
They invited her to Berlin thinking she would praise them. Instead, she exposed their blood-soaked history.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie didn't hold back. She exposed the ultimate Western lie. They teach their kids to "help the poor Africans," but completely erase the fact that Belgium’s King Leopold turned the Congo into a personal slaughterhouse. Millions murdered. Hands chopped off for rubber.

Having spent a long time watching Elon Musk, and having talked with him, I believe I understand what he understood before almost anyone else. And it's something every one of us needs to understand now.
Western civilization is not one civilization among many. It is the one that gave the world freedom of thought, modern science and the dignity of the individual. And it is under attack. Not by peoples, but by ideologies that want it dead.
If it dies, the world will not become more just. It will become poorer, more brutal and darker. For everyone, including those who hate it.
Why? Because civilizations are not interchangeable. We were told that any culture could be blended with any other, like mixing colors, and that the result would always be harmonious. It isn't true. A society where women are equal to men cannot coexist without friction with a worldview in which a woman's testimony is worth half a man's. A society where you can criticize God, change your religion or have none cannot absorb, without fracturing, a worldview in which apostasy is paid for with your life.
Every people has its own genius and moves at its own pace. But not all values are equal, and you cannot build a nation on laws that contradict each other. Saying so is not racist. Racism is about blood. I am talking about laws, customs and values. And those values belong to no race: a Japanese, a Senegalese or an Iranian can make them his own, and millions have. That is exactly why they are worth defending.
Let's remember where they come from.
It all begins in Greece. In Athens, for the first time, men decide that truth does not descend from a throne but is sought through reason, and that a city governs itself through debate. Socrates chooses death rather than give up thinking freely. At Salamis, a handful of free cities stops the greatest empire in the world.
Then comes Rome. Rome invents law that binds everyone, the citizen who holds rights, the Republic. And one immense idea: you can become Roman without being born Roman. You become Roman by adopting its laws.
Christianity adds the most revolutionary idea in history: every human being, slave and emperor alike, has infinite worth.
Then France. The cathedrals, those ships of stone our ancestors built over centuries for descendants they would never see. Descartes, Pascal, Voltaire. The Declaration of the Rights of Man. And Napoleon, who gives France the Civil Code, the lycées, and one simple principle: careers open to talent. Murat, the son of an innkeeper, ends up a Marshal of the Empire and King of Naples. The Civil Code spreads across much of Europe and still shapes the law of dozens of countries today.
And this civilization goes on to abolish slavery, which had been practiced on every continent since the dawn of time, to push back the plague, smallpox and the night itself, and to set foot on the Moon.
Peoples of the West, be proud of this history. Proud does not mean blind. Every civilization has committed crimes: conquest, slavery, war. Ours is the one that went furthest in examining its own faults, to the point of abolishing what it had once practiced. This capacity to question itself is its greatest strength. And that is exactly the strength now being turned against it.
Because for decades, this magnificent system has been getting hacked. Not by an army. By an alliance of two forces that have nothing in common except one enemy: us.
The first is communism. It lost the economic war, lost the Cold War, lost history's verdict with its tens of millions of dead. But it never lost the universities. It survived by changing costumes: class struggle became the struggle of the oppressed against their oppressors, and the West was declared guilty of everything. It taught our children to be ashamed of their ancestors, their borders and their culture. It is the root cause, because before you can bring down a civilization, you have to take away its will to defend itself.
The second is political Islam. I am not talking about Muslims, many of whom came here precisely to escape this ideology and are its first victims. I am talking about a political project that wants to place religious law above civil law. It has no doubts. It feels no shame. It rushes into the void the first one dug.
One disarms. The other advances.
And let no one on the left believe they will stay in control. History has already staged this play. In 1978, Michel Foucault was enthusing over the Iranian revolution. Iran's communist party, the Tudeh, backed Khomeini and called on Iranians to vote for his Islamic constitution. By 1983, its leaders had been arrested, the party banned, and its chiefs paraded on television to confess their “crimes.” In 1988, thousands of political prisoners were executed, communist activists among them. The second always ends up devouring the first. Useful idiots are only useful for a while.
So here is my call to every Western people. To the French, the Italians, the Poles, the Germans, the Spanish, the Americans, to all of you.
We are at a turning point. What we do in the next ten years will decide what our grandchildren are allowed to say, believe, write and love.
I am not asking you to die for the West. I am asking you for something harder: to live for it.
Learn its history and pass it on. Have children. Speak without fear, even when they call you every name in the book. Vote, get involved, run for office. Build companies, schools, factories, families. Refuse the shame they are trying to inject into you. And stop surrendering anything that makes us who we are: freedom of thought, equality before the law, the dignity of every person.
The historian Arnold Toynbee understood it: civilizations are not murdered, they commit suicide. And those who think they can let the West fall without paying the price should remember the Iranian communists. They helped tear down what they despised, and then they were next.
The Greeks at Salamis were outnumbered. They won because they knew what they were defending. We are the heirs of Athens, Rome, Notre-Dame and the Civil Code. It is no accident that the rockets that will carry humanity to Mars are being built in a free civilization.
It is time to prove ourselves worthy of what we were given.
The West is worth defending. And no one will defend it for us.

I am an English nationalist.
In a nutshell that means people and country first over anyone.
We all had “mates”.
The argument of the left about the “bubble” is pathetic when most of us have lived and live it.
Most of us who grew up in the later decades of the twentieth century in England lived alongside the children and grandchildren of post-war arrivals.
We went to school with them, played football with them, knew their families.
Some were decent people.
Some were not.
That is ordinary human variation, not a political argument.
The leap from that ordinary experience to a demand that the historic people of this country treat their own continuity as optional is what does not follow.
Knowing that individuals can be sound does not erase the distinction between a people whose ancestors built and sustained a civilisation over centuries and later arrivals whose primary attachments, languages, and kinship networks lie elsewhere.
A birth certificate issued by a modern state does not rewrite ancestry.
Growing up here does not convert someone into a member of the historic population any more than an English child raised in another country becomes a member of that country’s historic people.
The same non-sequitur appears in the claim that “immigrants built Britain.” Individual labour performed inside an already existing society, running a shop, working a trade, serving in the armed forces under the government of the day, does not constitute the founding, the institutions, the language, the common law, or the industrial and naval power that made the country, immigrants factually and evidently never “built” Britain.
Those things predate mass post-war migration.
To treat later participation as equivalent to creation is to collapse the difference between inhabiting a civilisation and producing one.
England is a small island.
The English are a historic people with one homeland and no large external reservoir of their own.
Other groups that have arrived here retain substantial majorities, multiple states, and continuous presence in their places of origin.
The English do not.
That asymmetry is not erased by personal acquaintance, by individual economic activity, or by the legal status conferred on children born on the soil after their parents arrived.
There are good and bad people in every population.
That fact has never, in any serious political tradition, been treated as sufficient reason to dissolve a people’s majority status in their own country or to redefine the country as a collection of interchangeable individuals whose only common bond is paperwork.
Continuity of a people is not hostility to particular persons.
It is the ordinary self-interest every other group on earth is permitted to exercise without apology.
Those who insist otherwise, who treat any defence of English continuity as an attack on their particular friends, and who respond to demographic reality with accusations of racism because the possibility of return or departure for some of those friends is distressing, are simply elevating personal sentiment and identity confusion over the continued existence of a people.
Their discomfort does not rewrite the terms.
English continuity is paramount.
Maintaining it requires decisions and consequences that many prefer not to confront.
Among those is the recognition that later arrivals, including those who are individually decent, still contribute to the numerical and cultural displacement of the historic population.
Continuity of a people is not hostility to particular persons.
It is the ordinary self-interest every other group on earth is permitted to exercise without apology.
