I’m seriously considering opting out of Halloween next year. Not a single kid actually walked my street. Instead, it was just a steady stream of parents pulling up, dropping kids off right at the driveway, and picking them up. A few kids were just in pajamas, and almost no one actually said "trick or treat"they just held out their bags.
I saw a bit of this last year, but this year was next level. Literally EVERY SINGLE KID was in a car. And as ridiculous as this sounds, they wouldn't even walk one house down. They would get back into the car just to have their parents drive them two houses down to the next stop.
