That darkie is tired of voting for people who are enriching themselves on their behalf. DA knows if they don't deliver they're gone. It's about delivery not your color. Does it help to vote for the person bcs of his color

Well, at least they are voting from a position of common sense. They feel that there is more than just the colour of one's skin. And they are disappointed by the ANC being pro black and non everybody else.

The objective is to sway votes turnout. They always do that when they see that their horse is in trouble. 🧐

I haven't forgotten that in 2005 the ANC Mayor of CT, Nomaindia Mfeketo, presided over the sale of prime beach front land in Blouberg to developers with links to the ANC, to build houses for the wealthy.
The ANC's Cape Town mayoral candidate Jeremiah Thuynsma says the party will build on its track record from 2003 to 2006, claiming it delivered more housing in that period than the DA has in 20 years. The party says it will prioritise housing delivery in the city. Tune in to #eNCA on #DStv403.

LGE 2026 | DA leader and Cape Town mayoral candidate Geordin Hill-Lewis says a coalition government would plunge the City of Cape Town into chaos. Speaking while putting up election posters, he urged DA supporters to back the party outright, arguing that coalition governments do not work.

The comments made by Deputy President Paul Mashatile during Monday's briefing in Bronkhorstspruit warrant particular attention. Mashatile said: "We are quite CONCERNED ABOUT PRIVATE SUPPLIERS OF WATER WITH WATER TANKERS BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY GET THAT WATER FROM. So there will be an intervention to check those but the city is supplying water in the meantime so there's nobody will go without water whilst this plant is being attended to." Given the national government's concerns, has the City engaged with them to provide assurances regarding the safety of water provided to residents through these private suppliers? Is this again a result of siloed communication? The City recently announced a temporary suspension of water tanker operations from the Cullinan hydrant, effective immediately, following the results of routine water quality monitoring conducted yesterday. Interesting 🤔

Almost 7000 SAPS vehicles are broken down, stations don’t have rape kits, forensic bags, pens or even toilet paper, yet there are always millions of rands for corrupt suspended ministers.

Wow! R22 billion to build an airport on 13 farms? No plans to utilize these farms for food production? Imagine all that money going into food production. It would solve so many hardships we are having. I guess people will be eating aeroplanes.🙄🇿🇦

...all well and good if the recipients of deeds to state land are needy persons with a genuine interest in farming and a desire to succeed...but the last 32yrs of recent history suggests the vast majority of beneficiaries will be @MYANC cadres, their families and cronies...

South Africans had to pay R2.7 million for Mchunu's lawyers...
EXPOSED: R2.7 MILLION FOR MCHUNU’S LAWYERS WHILE TAXPAYERS FUND TWO POLICE MINISTERS Taxpayers have already paid R2.7 million for Senzo Mchunu’s lawyers. That comes on top of R3.16 million in remuneration for Mchunu while on special leave, and another R3.02 million for Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia. Approximately R8.89 million in disclosed remuneration and legal costs. The salary figures only run to August 2026. And the latest parliamentary reply still does not disclose how much more legal funding has been approved or committed. At SAPS’s advertised 2026 constable salary, that total equals more than 35 annual basic salaries, before benefits, training and operational costs. During my May oversight visit, Khayelitsha’s Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit had 21 officials against an identified ideal of 43. President Ramaphosa could relieve Mchunu of his Cabinet post while he remains an MP. Any entitlement to legal representation is a separate issue. Keeping two ministerial pay packages running for one portfolio is a reckless use of taxpayers’ money. Citing policy does not make it responsible. Ramaphosa must end this arrangement. Police and Justice must disclose the full bill and the limits on further legal spending. IC

Can’t stand this phrase. The implication on some level being residents are pouring water down the drain. No, “normal consumption”. The phrase you are looking for is “Poor Rand Water infrastructure, weak long term planning and incompetence”. Please, be honest.

51 Kilometres - that is the distance that water tankers in Tshwane are now driving to fetch water from Waltloo to take to Bronkhorspruit. Rayton and Cullinan are now totally bypassed due to concerns about water quality. No proper warning to residents living there by the way. Do you know how much this is going to cost? Driving so far to fetch water. Absolutely nuts what is happening.
