You don’t need to be Nigerian to speak out🗣 what’s currently happening is devastating! My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected across the world. This need to end💔 #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality

Medical student spend 6 years in schools and they become Dr. directly right?
Law student spend 5 years in uni, 1 year in law school and become Barristers right?
Engineering student spend 5 years in school and are expected to work 5 years in the industry to get the Engr. title😪
Ohh you are kind of changing my perspective on this
I thought one should just settle or look towards going to a developed country
If you’re from Nigeria 🇳🇬, I’d encourage you to consider settling in an English-speaking country.
It makes personal and career growth much easier. You can return to school, explore a wider range of job opportunities, and integrate into society without first spending 2–3 years trying to learn a new language!
I’m speaking from experience, having lived in Germany and the Netherlands for four years.
Moving to America 🇺🇸 made me realize just how significant the language barrier had been!
The difference is HUGE!

I have finally finished reading @fisayosoyombo’s amazing account of crossing the desert into Libya, a route many unsuccessfully try to take to Europe. I believe that his wonderful account would have done more to dissuade many from embarking on this perilous journey than any public awareness campaign.
In academic qualitative research, we call this kind of research Ethnography. The researcher immerses himself deeply in the subject matter and becomes a research tool. Fisayo could easily have earned a PhD from this work if it had been planned as an academic research project. I don't think it's too late. It just needs to be complemented now by structured interviews and other research.
I am amazed by Fisayo’s physical fitness and endurance, and his capacity to bear pain and discomfort. I stan the man over and over again. 🙌🏽
Trekking in the desert like the Israelites. Waylaid by desert bandits. The Benue girl “brutally raped for 3 days” by traffickers.
The 3rd and final installation of @fijnigeria’s migrant investigation.
