Today I had a fruitful meeting with the PLU interim Coordinators of the district and sub counties of Kagadi at King Fisher Hotel Kagadi organised by our Kagadi District Coordinator Dr. James Byarugaba.
The NRM District Chairman Mr.Karungi Karukana was also part of the meeting.
We discussed on how to deepen our grassroot Mobilization, mobilize online registration and endorsements and amplify the fight against corruption as a patriotic act but also as directed by our PLU Chairman.
The country is United for a Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni @mkainerugaba Presidency 2031 and beyond.
I want GEN @mkainerugaba MUSEVENI to be the most peaceful and great president of Uganda 2031 onwards ✍🏼

UPDF Commences Withdrawal of Bilaterally Deployed Troops in Somalia
The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has embarked on the drawdown of troops deployed in Somalia under bilateral arrangements with the Federal Government effective immediately. The first cohort of troops under the phased withdrawal operation have already arrived back in Uganda. The operation to withdraw troops deployed in Somalia under bilateral arrangements will be completed in the next few days.
The UPDF will gradually withdraw all its forces in Somalia, including those currently deployed under the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) by the close of 2027. This will mark the end of Uganda’s enduring 20-year peace and stabilization support operations in Somalia, permitting the Somali Armed Forces to assume full responsibility for security in the country.

ETHIOPIA IS AN AFRICAN ECONOMIC SUCCESS STORY!
Under Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Ethiopia is demonstrating Africa’s enormous potential. With approximately 136 million people, Africa’s second-largest population, its economy grew by 9.2% in FY2024/25, among the fastest growth rates globally.
The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, Africa’s largest hydroelectric project, has over 5,000 MW of installed capacity, providing a foundation for industrialization and regional electricity exports.
Ethiopia offers competitively priced electricity, while Ethiopian Airlines remains Africa’s leading aviation powerhouse.
Addis Ababa is undergoing remarkable transformation, with modern infrastructure, skyscrapers, roads and ambitious urban redevelopment increasingly inviting comparisons with Dubai.
Ethiopia also proudly maintains its historical distinction of resisting European colonization, apart from Italy’s occupation between 1936 and 1941.
The lessons for Africa are profound: visionary leadership, affordable energy, infrastructure investment, industrialization, education, competent institutions and national determination can transform economies.
Africa must move decisively from potential to prosperity!
Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, H.E. Abiy Ahmed, has unveiled an impressively lean Cabinet, bringing together highly qualified professionals, including numerous PhD holders and experienced specialists across key sectors.
This is a powerful statement on meritocracy, competence, technocratic leadership and efficient governance. Africa must increasingly prioritize expertise, integrity, performance and results over political patronage.
A government should be judged not by the number of ministers appointed, but by its capacity to deliver economic transformation, industrialization, prosperity and improved livelihoods for its citizens….congratulations !!!
@AbiyAhmedAli
