What a mess the Green Party in England and Wales has got itself into, entirely of its own making. The 'anti-Zionist' policy they now have would have shamed a Warwick SU motion in the late 1970s.

I see the Green Party have embraced “Anti-Zionism”. I wonder if anyone has done that before:

90 years ago today, Oswald Mosley and his Blackshirts attempted to march through and intimidate a predominantly Jewish area of the East End.
Men, women and children, alongside local residents, trade unionists and anti-fascist protesters, came together to defend the community in what became known as the Battle of Cable Street.
They taught us an important lesson: communities can resist fascism by joining together.
Hate and antisemitism had no place in London then, and it has no place here now.

As a former Green Party member of nearly four decades, I fully endorse this message.
To any decent person still in the Green Party and looking on with shame - it doesn’t have to be like this.

In case anybody is wondering, I've got problems with my laptop internet, which has meant unable to post. I'd like to say that many people in Suffolk, I really like Ed Sheeran and do not appreciate the personal attacks on him.

Good piece by @NickCohen4 on those who are obsessed with who is and who is not ethnically English. Either they are engaged in a pointless bit of labelling, or they have a racist agenda. They should tell us which:

not to get political, but America is real pretty and has a lot of nice folks making cool things, and i think if we had a president who wasn’t actively trying to murder us, we could have a pretty good time
When we were barely more than nippers we all went from North London to see Pink Floyd in Hyde Park. These days I wouldn't leave the gaff to see them if they played at our nearest pub, The Dove.
When are the calls, after their Manchester disaster, and their low polls, for Zack Polanski to resign as Green Leader, going to begin?
It's said Zany Zack is on the way out after Manchester Mayor disaster reduces Green Party to minor fringe level.
Anyone who reacts like this is filth. Islamism.
It’s like @thismorning having a cosy discussion about executions. Presumably the point is to terrify the Iranian people watching
