Interesting to see the Emmys list after binging Widow’s Bay. I would have thought this was a left-field hit, not that it swept and won 14 Emmys; with six for acting (Gilpin was great). Widow’s Bay fever was real. Rhys is a masterclass in horror comedy. Timeless Root role.

Wildwood. It’s fine. C+ kids movie with A+ aesthetics. Sets a pretty mind blowing animation standard, but I was bored for a lot of it. I don’t think I saw it in the right definition. These kind of YA movies give me a headache. Above average story, super impressive visuals.
