wanted to clear up some of the outdated/inaccurate stuff I saw around some of the solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp replies yesterday, let's go. i'm gonna bullpost some other stuff after this, but I got a solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp bull post in me this morning blockworks.com/analytics/col… blockworks has tremendous data on their financials, very transparent. safe to say that the gacha scene, their partnerships, userbase, inventory, and infrastructure have all seen significant growth. also nice to see a good portion of people keeping and redeeming their cards aside from the cobie follow and unlock timing,I felt it was likely coinbase was partnering with cc because they've been the most aggressive about partnering with companies, as well as, as far as I can tell, having the best infrastructure to handle partners. as @wronguser000 says, the HIP3 of tcg another common theme was what if coinbase vamps them? or they aggregate them? or they partner with the random startup they vc funded with a guy who's main expertise is he sold a few cards and did some consulting? and to that I'd say, well, coinbase would have a failed business line. a lot of people on ct think you can just spin up a gacha like some random shitcoin. and sure, if you're using fake inventory, maybe you could. a real gacha business requires a significant physical presence, which makes it massively difficult to vamp if you have real inventory, you need to have a real vault. you need to have significant warehouse space (cc has 2 100k sq foot warehouses/vault space iirc, and bought a physical collectibles store for wholesale), you need to have workers, you need to have the infrastructure to redeems thousands or tens of thousands of cards physically. it's why even well funded operations like psa are delayed quite a few months on top of that, people go to gachas because they think they can win something valuable. people don't really want to spin for random trash, and cc has both the connections, and expertise to make sure they have many of the best cards and get them at good prices. you can't simply say you're going to buy $50 million worth of graded cards on the market without massively shooting prices up, the inventory doesn't exist that way. that's the benefit of tokenizing actual scarce physical goods and finally, you can see their marketplace royalties picking up. while gacha is obviously the primary revenue driver, it's very good that huge grails are being sold via their marketplace, and that marketplace revenue is growing. over time, I believe this will be such a superior experience to ebay that it'll drive substantial revenue and lead to tokenizing many of the most valuable cards. all rwa collectibles roads lead back to $cards

hilarious that $cards is not even trading at ath's while revenue, profit and volume of @Collector_Crypt is parabolic and making ath's basically every week.

Hyperliquid’s secret to success was as simple as it was genius: Nail the product β†’ attract the liquidity and users β†’ then let builders build on top of that. Product becomes platform. The exact same thing is happening with @Collector_Crypt right now, with projects like @renaissxyz, @slabcash, @ComicBook, @MagicEden others building on top of their infrastructure and inventory - horizontally expanding both their distribution and revenue. What they are cooking in-house on that front will take all of this to a whole new level. If you only knew.

Slabs are the new sealed product imo All the digital rip/gacha/casino stuff need slabs Everything being built is centered around slabs These companies are basically price insensitive buyers because they need slabs to churn through to run these businesses And there are sooo many popping up Oh and guess what? The grading companies can’t keep up… Sounds like a recipe for insanity in regards to slab pricing

ok zoomers, please go to 32:30 and watch from there, and stop asking so much about token equity
you've seen that Pokemon and One Piece cards are going parabolic, but do you know how much of that demand is coming from crypto platforms and collectors? the all time total gacha spending on Collector Crypt is almost $500,000,000 I sat down with @TuomHolmberg who is the CEO of @Collector_Crypt to discuss the landscape of the TCG economy and where we both think the market is going from here the full podcast is available on my YouTube as well, the link is below this post ⬇️ ----------------------- timestamps: 0:00: Trailer 1:18: Intro 8:40: How Gacha platforms changed the market 20:40: Why use crypto RWA platforms for TCGs 24:00: Is TCG overall in a bubble 26:36: Are vintage cards in a bubble 32:30: What is the $CARDS token 39:30: Are people overlooking the $CARDS token 49:40: The issue with most tokens

In the revenue leaderboard, @Collector_Crypt is sitting right behind @HyperliquidX... a multi-billion protocol with $1.1B in earnings. - $HYPE is trading at 32x P/E. - $CARDS is trading at 0.4x P/E. It is absurdly underpriced.
$CARDS valuation is mathematically offensive. Simply because it generated more profits than its MC... Spoiler: @TuomHolmberg confirmed that a chunk of the profits will go towards direct buybacks. - $9M gross profit in Q1 ($37M/year) - $146M gross revenue in Q1 ($584M/year) While sitting at $19M MC and $150M FDV. FYI: FDV is effectively much lower; you can remove 37% foundation, 16% community (will take 10 years to disperse), and $2M worth of tokens the team bought back (averaging $0.03)... which puts ~$68.5M effective FDV. "So... why isn't the price moving?" At $19M MC, any whale that wants real exposure moves the price 50%+... Imagine what a $1M buy will do to the price. So they wait... $50M... $100M... a number where they can actually enter without breaking the asset. @Collector_Crypt has been consistently growing revenue/profits despite broad crypto underperformance. It has survived a -95% drawdown, the chart is bottomed, and showing some strength. TL;DR: I can't believe this opportunity actually exists.
