Congratulations @IISERPune on completing 20 years! IISER Pune was established in 2006 and started in a small facility in a rented building in Pashan. Since then it has evolved into a fine institution.
This young institution has been a great addition to Pune. In its two decades, it has already achieved some excellent milestones in science and interdisciplinary research and education.
From a students perspective, IISER Pune is ranked at the top, among the seven IISERs in the country.
A great campus, great facilities and great faculty, researchers & students!
Wishing IISER Pune all the best for many more milestones in the coming years.

While most of us escape the heat indoors, delivery partners continue riding through scorching streets to keep our daily lives running.
Last year, Chennai introduced a thoughtful solution.
The Greater Chennai Corporation set up an air conditioned rest lounge for gig workers, giving delivery riders a safe place to pause during long shifts.
The space can accommodate around 25 people and offers comfortable seating, drinking water, toilets, mobile charging points, and security.
For workers who spend 10 to 12 hours outdoors, these small comforts can make a big difference. A short break in a cool space helps them recharge before getting back on the road.
As India prepares for another intense summer, this initiative shows how cities can start thinking about the people who keep urban life running.

Youth across Maharashtra drive climate action for water conservation!
The "YEWS" initiative by Maharashtra Government and UNICEF India fosters future water stewards. Since 2023, over 1,500 colleges in 13 districts established Green Clubs, saving 25.8 million cubic meters of water, empowering 790,000 students.
With Hon'ble Minister @ChDadaPatil, Pune honored top student leaders, colleges, and teachers for innovations like fixing taps and village recharge pits.
Over 212,000 students completed online climate and water courses. Youth-led movements inspire change for Maharashtra’s future!
