We launched the #GreenSchoolProgram a year ago to foster eco-friendly environments in five #PCMC government schools: Dnyandeep Vidyalaya, Kisanrao Bhalekar School, Raja Shiv Chhatrapati Vidyalaya, Shreemati Sheshabai Devrao Ganage Prashala (Krishna Nagar), and Shreemati Sheshabai Devrao Ganage Prashala (Triveni Nagar). With a focus on immersive and participative ecological education, we aimed to cultivate a love for the planet and inspire eco-advocacy among young minds. A year of nurturing conscious attitudes has borne fruit! From excelling in gardening, recycling, and composting to inspiring family and friends to adopt sustainable practices, the students have emerged as true ambassadors for the planet. Together, we’re sowing the seeds of a greener, more sustainable future—one thoughtful action at a time. #MahindraLifespaces #Sustainability #IAMGreenArmy

On April 21st, our leadership team, associates, and industry experts came together to commemorate #WorldEarthDay with a conversation around “Combating Climate Change through रोटी, कपड़ा, मकान, और ….” We were honoured to host renowned architect and sustainable habitats development expert, Gaurav Shorey, for a keynote that weaved #sustainability with cultural practices in the hyper-local context brought about by preservation of traditional knowledge systems, with a focus on the five elements, namely भाषा (Dialects), भोजन (Diets), भेष (Dress), भवन (Dwellings), and भजन (Dances), reminding us that sustainability is not a new concept, and its principles are deeply rooted in Indian Culture, through our traditions, beliefs, and customs. To mark the occasion, we unveiled our Sustainability Flipbook, introduced by our Chief Marketing Officer, Abhimanyu Mathur, and Chief Sustainability Officer, Mahindra Group, Ankit Todi with an aim to simplify sustainability for all, and present ways to adopt and lead a sustainable lifestyle.
