Interesting, do you have any evidence of that date? Goads has this being built sometime between 1913 (first image, not yet constructed) and 1924 (second image, constructed). Imperial Extract, to the east, became Shirriff (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirri…) and this was likely part of that:
