Faience and glass industries may have been linked in ancient Nubia
Archaeologists have discovered a faience workshop at a major temple complex in the ancient Nubian capital of Napata, showing how the rulers of ancient Kush used specialized craft production to reinforce royal power.

Ekpe/Abakuá + Freemasonry + Babylon = a continuous chain of spiritual control and rebellion.

The most powerful thread in the history of twitter.
🧵Who is the African secret society “Ekpe” and how do they resemble Freemasonry, how do they connect to the slave trade and Babylon?
Ekpe, also known as Mgbe/Egbo (Ekoi language: leopard; derived from the Efik term for the same), is a West African secret society in Nigeria and Cameroon flourishing chiefly among the Ejagham. It is also found among a number of other ethnic groups, including the Efik and Bahumono of the Cross River State, the Ibibio, the Uruan and the Oron of Akwa Ibom State, Arochukwuand some other parts of Abia State, as well as in the diaspora, such as in Cuba and Brazil. The society is still active at the beginning of the 21st century, now playing more of a ceremonial role.
[Side Note from Myself: Remember that leopard meaning]
There are two distinct but related societies. The primary society is located in the Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Arochukwu areas of Nigeria, and the secondary society consists of members from the Southern and Eastern Igbo groups of the same country.

I don’t care if they have a stack of accounts & records reaching the ceiling, all of them could be falsified. There is no such thing as conclusive history. The moment a record is documented, there is the potential that it has been falsified or embellished. Regardless of the amount of data put forth. I cannot assume that falsehood cannot be systematized.

Listen.
Sir Hilary Beckles challenges one of the most persistent simplifications surrounding the transatlantic slave trade: the claim that European powers merely arrived as buyers while Africans alone were responsible for selling Africans.
Speaking during a reparations dialogue in Jamaica, Beckles points to the colonial archive, African resistance, the removal and exile of political leaders, and the wider systems of power that made the Atlantic slave economy possible.
His argument is not that no Africans participated in the trade. It is that the historical record is much larger than that single explanation.
The deeper question is institutional responsibility.
Who financed the system? Who built and protected the forts and trade routes? Who used imperial power against resistance? Who wrote the official records? And what changes when those records are brought back into public view?
This is why historical truth matters to reparative justice.
