Watch how fast the GOP moves to blame it all on Trump. How do I know? Because this was the plan discussed by a number of Republicans before the election & the word was passed around. I posted about it weeks ago. I was told they would use this “crushing defeat” to get rid of the MAGA movement & the establishment would retake the party. So be prepared. I feel a little mixed and selfish tonight because all politics are local, and my state of Florida is saved and we will flourish for years.
But I feel horrible for the rest of the country, especially Texas.

2024 was awesome. Tonight mostly sucked except for Florida and Tennessee. Reality is nothing will get passed by Congress for two years and the 2028 presidential election starts tomorrow.

The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why:
♦️ “The meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed home—the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldn’t see any difference between the two parties.”♦️
There’s a lesson in that worth remembering. You can’t win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.
