Wow, Roma have a really good schedule over the next 5 Rounds (let’s make that 6, here’s the link serieafixtures.live/), but a small yet important reminder: 🚨 Transfers will be unlimited between R11 and R12!

This tweet aged well. 😭😂😭😂
I know @FCBayern are a massive club and I have huge respect for them but if I were @HKane I’d stay put. There’s no great achievement in winning a trophy with them. @realmadrid I would understand. Or one or two top @premierleague clubs for that matter. Becoming the all time Premier League top goal scorer @SpursOfficial is a bigger achievement than winning the league in a country dominated by 1 team.
Who's that in Pot 1? 👀

Sarri’s doing worse than Juric for Atalanta imo
Under Juric they weren’t great, but they were creating chances and were letdown by Krstovic missing every possible chance..
This Sarri Atalanta is putrid on the eye and can’t even create…
Sounds more and more like a Vidic 2.0

In hindsight, Paying people to post on this app was the worst decision possible.
🚨 Gennaro Gattuso on Mike Maignan’s red card against Bournemouth:
“I feel sorry for Milan. I really do. And people might find that strange coming from me because I’m the Lazio manager now. We’re second in Serie A, Milan are one of our competitors, and I have my own team to worry about.
But I watched that match, and I don’t think the result tells the whole story.
Milan came to play football. They wanted to win. They conceded, yes, but they were still in the game. There was no reason to panic. Then Mike loses his head, gets himself sent off, and suddenly everything changes.
And I’m sorry, but I cannot defend what he did.
I was an aggressive player. Everybody knows that. I argued with referees, I confronted opponents, I did plenty of stupid things. I’m not going to pretend I was an angel.
But putting your hands on another man’s face? No.
I remember once during my playing days, an opponent put his hand near my face during an argument. I told him, ‘You can insult me all afternoon, but don’t put your hands there.’
Because there’s something very personal about that.
You push somebody in the chest, he might push you back. You put your hand across his face and shove him, and now you’re asking for a fight.
Try doing that to somebody outside a football stadium. See how he reacts.
People are saying the Bournemouth player exaggerated the contact. Maybe he did. Maybe he didn’t. That’s not what concerns me.
Mike gave the referee a decision to make, and the referee was entitled to send him off.
What concerns me is what happened to the other Milan players.
Imagine you’re a midfielder. You’ve prepared all week for this match. The manager has explained how he wants you to play, where to position yourself, when to press, when to attack.
You concede a goal, but you’re thinking, ‘Fine, we can still turn this around.’
Then you look across the pitch and your goalkeeper is walking towards the tunnel.
Now everything you’ve prepared for changes.
The manager has to reorganise the team. Somebody has to sacrifice his attacking responsibilities. Players have to run more, defend more, suffer more.
And why?
Because one player couldn’t control himself for a few seconds.
That’s what would make me angry as a manager.
If one of my Lazio players did that tomorrow, I’d tell him exactly the same thing. You’re not just getting yourself sent off. You’re making ten other men pay for your mistake.
And those men have families watching, supporters who travelled to see them, and a manager whose job depends on results. You have a responsibility to all of them.
Now, I know Mike is a fantastic goalkeeper. He’s given Milan so much, and one incident doesn’t erase that.
But when you’re one of the important players in a dressing room, you have to understand how much your teammates depend on you.
I hope he apologises to them. Not because he’s a bad person, but because he made a bad decision.
And I hope people don’t use this result to start attacking every Milan player.
I watched them continue fighting even after everything had gone wrong. You could see the effort. You could see they still wanted something from the match.
I spent many years wearing that Milan shirt. Of course I still have affection for the club. I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
But I’m Lazio’s manager now. I want Lazio to finish above Milan. I want us to win our matches and achieve our own ambitions.
That doesn’t mean I have to celebrate another team’s misfortune.
Football is difficult enough when you’ve got eleven players on the pitch. When one of your own players makes it ten, you’ve made everybody else’s job twice as hard.
Mike made a serious mistake. He should accept the punishment.
But those Milan players deserved a better chance to decide that match with their football.
That’s what disappoints me.
Not that Milan lost.
It’s that ten players were left paying for something they didn’t do.”

No point explaining this to people who dont care about football
I mean obviously a league's quality isn't fluctuating by the week based on how 4/20 of them perform
But every week, different Grand Conclusions must be drawn - the more extreme the better
🇮🇹 Serie A is a league that is often disrespected and criminally underrated at times.
No more so than last week when it’s clubs had a poor week in Europe!
However, this week has see Italy go 4/4 in the UEFA Champions League which included Como thrashing Manchester United last night!
Serie A is a brilliant division with some incredible players and football teams. It’s simply a league that should never be written off!
I was not ready for that ending 🤣🤣🤣
What sort of job does fabregas likely get once he leaves como? Just based on a few games watching como over the last couple of seasons, they're one of the best coached teams in europe imo. Think the hype is completely justified, but any chance he does another sort of stepping stone move to like a lets say leeds sized club for example first?
