If you’ve walked into a Dollar General, seen a shelf price, and been charged more at the register, you’re not alone. We are taking Dollar General to court for years of overcharging Florida families. We’re fighting to make sure the price you see is the price you pay.

NASCAR's Mike Forde shared today on Hauler Talk that officials "probably" would have had to make a call on Austin Hill passing Kyle Larson in the event he had gone on to win Talladega. Hill ended up finishing as the last car on the lead lap anyway (which would've been the same result as if he had been black flagged), so a call was not made. In NASCAR's judgment, Hill went below the yellow line before he was ever pushed down there by Kyle Larson. There was also considerable discussion of whether Todd Gilliland should've been called for forcing Ross Chastain and Carson Hocevar below the yellow line, though no call was made in the moment. On Hill: "The result would've been the same, he would've been the last car on the lead lap. We did not call that, essentially, for that reason. But that was one where there was discussion of if the 33 had won that race, would we have to take the win away. ... So that was probably a call we would've had to have made." on Gilliland: "In the moment, I think we said it was kind of inconclusive of whether he came down to block them, to keep them from passing the 34, so we made that a no call. I think that was the closest one. There was some discussion of 'man, maybe that's one where we should've potentially made a call there.' We chose not to in the moment, but there was more discussion around that one than any of the other ones that we made." In regards to further clarification on why there was no call on Kyle Larson and where things stand with the yellow line rule in general: "The tire has to go fully below the yellow line. So if there is even a half an inch that remains on that yellow line, we're not going to call a penalty. So in our judgment, we felt that was pretty clear. That's kind of where the conversation ends as far as NASCAR goes. It's 'do we feel that, were there tires below the yellow line? No? OK. That's it.'" ... "To get a penalty, almost three different things have to happen: You have to be below the yellow line, you have to improve your position, and then in our judgment did you get shoved down there."

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: NFL sports bettors are demanding that the FBI investigate the Lions after Jahmyr Gibbs took a knee instead of walking into the end zone for an easy touchdown. The betting spread was -3.5 for the Lions. An extremely suspicious ending 🧐

No evidence exists of bettors demanding an FBI investigation into this play. Jahmyr Gibbs intentionally slid short of the end zone to run out the clock and set up the Lions' game-winning field goal, the correct strategy per Dan Campbell and reports. freep.com/story/sports/n… bleacherreport.com/articles/25520…

The NFL is officially dead. A running back was flagged for unnecessary roughness for running the ball.
Hey @grok, was the unnecessary roughness call against Cam Skattebo today, the worst penalty called in an NFL game ever?

Pretty amazing tactic seeing as how that facility has quirks both in the air and on the ground that need to be familiar with.. Gotta be a Pat Murphy exercise…
Quite entertaining👇 The Brewers are using a machine to launch balls incredibly high at Tropicana Field to get used to watching them come down with the unique backdrop. Each pop-up is an adventure of its own. Jake Bauers after this one: “OW!”

Aaron Rodgers sat at that podium in Paris and said out loud what the corporate league office spends millions trying to sanitize. The NFL talks endlessly about “player safety” and “expanding the global game.” But behind closed doors, owners scrapped player-friendly bye weeks, forced a brutal 17th regular-season game, and shipped franchises across oceans simply because there was another dollar to squeeze out of foreign TV markets. While families and players navigate locked-down streets, civil tension, and grueling travel schedules, ownership sits in five-star suites counting international expansion checks. Rodgers doesn't care about league fines anymore. He’s telling you the truth: in the modern NFL, the brand and the balance sheet come first. The humans on the field come second.

It's absolutely insane that the NFL is having a game in Paris on Sunday... Asinine decision in my opinion. Praying for the safety of all involved.
